Updates/Changes/New Info
In game events
Just like in HG/SS, B&W has an event that unlocks when you send over a pokemon from real life events. First of which is Zoroark.
- When you send they shiny/alternate colored Raikou/Entei/Suicune that you get from pre ordering tickets for the movie, Phantom Champion Zoroark in Japan (sorry US crying ) and at some unconfirmed events outside of Japan (-crosses fingers-) you will get to access the special Zoroark battle.
--about the battle: Zoroark will be lvl 25, so be sure to use weaker pokemon/same level, or the legendary beast if you haven't trained it. Since Zoroark has the new ability illusion (kinda like transform) it will continuously change it's appearance into another pokemon (its type should stay the same though, not confirmed yet) So just remember your battling a dark-type pokemon. After you deal enough damage to Zoroark it will be in its original form, which is when you capture it.
The Battles
Pokemon no longer stay in one place! Everything moves now, the back of the pokemon is constantly moving, and depending on different situations the movement may change.
The camera no longer stays stationary with many attacks, whether your on the giving or receiving end, the camera will zoom out and show the full pokemon during said attack. Battles go a bit faster now too. whee Three on Three Battles!Triple battles involve you sending out half of your team against the opponents. And with a new battle type the mechanics of the battles are slightly changed and introduce targeting, to let all 3 opponents be targeted and moves that can hit all 5 pokemon on the field. More than likely the triple battles will play a big role within the gameplay, and add difficulty to the battles too.
About TargetingIn triple battles your pokemon are able to target the opponents, but the targeting of the battles are determined solely by the position on the field. The pokemon in the middle is able to attack all of the pokemon on the field, while the ones on the sides may only attack the pokemon opposite of them.
Which will make battle strategies even more interesting.
You do have the ability to move your pokemon around during battle, BUT doing that will use up your turn, thus making your pokemon more vulnerable to attacks. In addition to that the Pokemon you have in the middle will do more damage to all the others when using an attack that damages all its foes than the pokemon on either side.
Global Link
Another new feature in Pokemon B&W is Global Link.
Which will allow you to upload your pokemon save to the internet to access a specific site in order to get features and pokemon in the games.Game SyncTo connect with the G.L. Site you will need to Sync with the website via Wi-Fi Connection. You can do this two ways, the first being, you use the Dream Smoke feature given my the Pokemon Munna or its evolution Musharna. The second way is, you can also sync through the C Gear. When you sync, you send across only one of your Pokemon to enter the dream world from your box.
The Dream WorldOnce you are in the dream world on the G.L. site, you are then able to play some mini games on the site with your pokemon and you can even encounter and befriend other pokemon while your there! No mini games have been made public yet.
Pokémon CaptureWhile you are in the dream world, you can befriend other Pokemon. At one point you will end up having to challenge they Pokemon you befriended and capturing it, then you can transfer it to you Pokemon B&W games next time you sync your game up to Global Link. (A lot like the Pokewalker). The pokemon in the dream world will usually be Pokemon not found within the Issac Pokedex. It is still unknown what determine the kind you find there.
