Currently, about 50,000 North Korean Christians are being held in work camps where they are underfed, not given medical care, exposed to torture on a daily basis, and pretty much denied any sort of basic human freedoms that Christians in other countries enjoy on a daily basis. There are at least several dozen countries where christians are restricted from owning bibles, participating public worship, and conducting evangelism. In muslim countries like Iran the law specifies that muslims who convert to Christianity must be executed. This is called the Apostasy Law. In Columbia, Marxist Guerillas who run the drug trade persecute Christians and their Pastors because the protestant pastors are extremely adamant about teaching their congregations to lead a life in which they are clean, sober, and nonviolent.
