I'm making this sticky for discussion about thoughts and reactions for RAW, which hopefully will be updated on a weekly basis starting tomorrow night (although, if anyone wants to start discussion now, feel free).

RAW- May 17, 2010
Bret Hart/Jericho promo for US title match that night- Pretty long segment just to make the match and add the no DQ stipulation. But okay, they set up the match...I'll rant about the match later.
Edge beat Christian/Undertaker beat Edge via Count Out- While I think they should have waited on pitting Edge against Christian until SummerSlam, the match was great. That being said...With as good as that match was, they DEFINITELY should have built it up for SummerSlam. They'll probably do a push for the two anyway, but there's not much of a point now. They've squandered the heat...it was a great match, but given away for free with no sponsor money?...Just doesn't make sense. As for the whole "hold up, that's not your real opponent"...that was actually a good idea. I'm kinda half and half on the count out finish, but if anything, maybe they can use that as the heat for Edge/Christian 2 at SummerSlam (if they even decide to go that route).
Maryse/Eve fight backstage- They fight...I pretend it's a commercial...Next.
Vickie/Buzz backstage- The only thing to come out of this horribly acted segment is the announcement that there will be an official GM starting next week. And it's not Vickie, so that's something to cheer for (now...if we can only get her off SmackDown...).
Batista/Henry "match" and Cena's promo- Henry is now the official World's Largest Jobber. I guess it could be worse. He could be using one of the little guys to try to "prove" that he might be able to beat Cena...And Cena cuts another carbon copy promo of everything we've heard before...can't remember where it was in the show, so I added it here.
DiBiase beat Yoshi Tatsu- Random appearance by Virgil...maybe this is Vince's response to TNA ("You're not the only ones who knows old washed out wrestlers!"). Does anyone else think this DiBiase/R-Truth thing is tinged with a hint of racism? Eh, either way. Alright match, nothing special by RAW standards. Poor Yoshi...he should have stayed in Tokyo...or the Mushroom Kingdom (I forgot which one he came from).
Bret Hart beat Miz- Okay...so...The US champion is now Bret Hart...a legend, yes, but he's well past his prime. Considering he needed the Hart Dynasty to do the work for him, does anyone think he's going to make a good champ this time around? He can barely move! Granted, I really...and I mean REALLY wanted Bryan Danielson to debut tonight...but I would have even settled for a Hart loss. Hart winning the belt makes absolutely no sense and just further ruins any credibility the US title once had.
Maryse, Michelle McCool, and Layla beat The Bellas and Eve- I thought they said the night was commercial free....
Orton beat Swagger via DQ- At least this time around, Swagger showed signs of offense. If they would have worked like this at Extreme Rules, I would have been much more pleased about the match. Oh well, decent match...but would it kill the WWE to give Swagger a legit win over someone? (probably)
Bourne and Kim beat Ryder and Fox- I only caught glimpses of this match, so I'm not quite sure if I really missed anything. But hey, at least Bourne and Ryder (as well as Gail and Fox) are being used for something (Morrison wasn't even on the show...isn't he supposed to be the "next HBK"?).
Cena beat Sheamus via DQ- Again, I only caught a few glimpses of the match. It looked like it was a little back and forth, which is good for Sheamus. And then ends with Cena showing everyone he won't quit to Batista...cause, in case you've forgot, they have an I Quit match this Sunday....
As for other things in the night- Lame commercial parodies. Buzz suckin' it up as a guest host (at least he was used sparingly).
Overall, decent matches, but again, some stroyline/push issues.

I heard Morrison got injured at a house show As for RAW... I honestly can't believe they put the US title on Bret. There is no need to bring Virgil back Edge vs Christian was pretty good and would make a good main event pay per view match for a world title. The rest was pretty boring, even the Bourne match, which takes a lot for me to say that about a Bourne match since he is my favorite WWE superstar. All in all, other than the WTF @ Bret as US champ, a pretty lack luster RAW

I could rant for days about them putting the belt back on Bret...and I probably will. Edge/Christian was a great match, but there's a lot that confounds me on the business side of things. And RAW tonight was kinda eh. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't all that great either.

The only match i was even a little bit interested in was Edge vs Christian and Edge vs Undertaker. Other than that i was in the next room occasionally poking my head in to see what was going on.

I still miss the paper bag emo
Anyways, on topic. All I have to say about RAW is that Edge vs Christian was good, it is ridiculous that Bret has the US title, and the rest was boring.
