This week's creature should be easy since this is a guild dedicated to them. Faeries although they hate to be called that are also known as the Sidhe, Fae, Falla, The Good Folk, and the Wee Ones. Faeries are supernatural ethereal beings that come in over 100 subcategories. The most popular of these categories is the Seelie and Unseelie courts of Faerieland. These courts represent light and dark, good and evil. In Shakesphere's play a Midsummers Night Dream. Queen Titania was the ruler of the Seelie Court and King Oberon was the ruler of the Unseelie Court. The fae also are known all of the world, and any country has their own version of the folk! Your job is to come up with anything about the fae! ^ ^

I found this is my arichives of Faery research, and ever since I saw it, I thought it was quite interesting. I'll translate it in green. I highly recommend you read my translation. I've studied middle English and some Swedish. So, I could understand the original message by this madame, it is difficult to read. Note: This summoning might be of more accuracy if a witch did the summoning. [Not all witches are Wiccan and not all Wiccans are witches]. I do not practice magick. But this still intrigues me, I'd love to know if summon would be willing to try this... Thank you! :]
~TO SUMMON A FAYRIE~
An excellent way to gett a fayrie, but for myself I call Margarett Barrance but this will obtaine any one that is not allready bound. First gett a broad square christall or venus glasse in length and breadth 3 inches, then lay that glasse or christall in the blood of a white henne 3 Wednesdayes or 3 Fridayes: then take it out and wash it with holy aquae and fumigate it : then take 3 hazle sticks or wands of an yeare groth, pill them fayre and white, and make soe longe as you can write the spirits name, or fayries name, which you call 3 times, on every sticke being made flatt one side, then bury them under some stone hill whereas you suppose fayries haunt, the Wednesdaye before you call she, and the Fridaye followinge take them uppe and calle she at 8 or 3 or 10 of the clock which be goode plannetts howres for that turne: but when you call, be in cleane Life and turne thy face towards the East, and when you have she bind her to that stone or glasse.
An unguent to annoynt under the eylidds and upon the eylidds evninge and morninge, but especially when you call, or finde your sighte not perfect. Putt sallet oyle into a viall glasse but first wash it with rose water, and marygold flower water, the flowers be gathered to the east, wash it til the oyle come white, then putt it into the glasse, ut supra, and put there to the buds of hollyhocke, the flowers of marygold:the flowers or topps of wild time, the budds of younge hazle, and the time must be gatherred neare the side of a hille where fayries use to go oft, and the grasse of a fayrie throne, there, all these putte into the oyle, the glasse, and sett it to dissolve 3 dayes in the sonne, and thou keep it for thy use; ut supra.

-TO SUMMON A FAYRIE [Fae, Fairy, Faerie, Faery, Fay, etc.]-
An excellent way to get a Fayrie, but I call upon Margarett Barrance, but this will obtain anyone that is not already bound. First, get a broad square crystal or Venus glass in length and breadth [distance] in 3 inches, then lay that glass or crystal in the blood of a white hen [chicken/fowl] for 3 Wednesdays or 3 Fridays. Then take it out and wash it with holy water and fumigate it. Then take 3 hazel sticks or wands of an yeare groth [type of herb or spice?] pile them fayre and white, and make some long so you can write the spirits name, or Fayrie's name, which you call 3 times, [3 is a sacred number by many a people, by the way] on every stick, put one side flat, then bury it/them under some stone hill whereas you suppose Fayries haunt [roam/live]. The Wednesday before you call he/she, and the Friday following, take them up and call he/she at 8, 3, or 10 o'clock, mote it good, for the planets turn, but when you call, be cleansed in Life and turn your face towards the East, and when you have he/she, bind her to that stone or glass.
Use a lubrication or oil to anoint the eyelids at evening and morning, but note, when you call, or find your sight is not perfect, Put salt oil into a vial glass, wash it first with rose water and marigold water, gather the flowers to the east, wash it till the oil becomes white, then put it into the glass, ut supra [Swedish? the superfluid- flow without friction--Physics] and put it to hollyhock buds, the marigold flowers, the flowers or tops of wild thyme, hazel bud, and the thyme must be gathered near the side of a hill where Fayries use to go often, and the grass of a Fayrie throne, while there, put these into the oil, the glass, and let it sit to dissolve 3 days in the sun. For personal use only!
Ms. Ashmole, 1406.

I find that the easiest ways to summon faeries is to call to them and leave them sweet offerings of honey or sugar. I also call to the fae, the tuatha de dannan during circle and ask that they come and join us during our magical work. In my coven I am the one people feel is most connected so I am always the one to call to them and I swear if you get the right places when you are casting you can literally feel them surround you.

The name of the realm that Fae live in is known Faerie (the creatures are spelled Faery)(I think I have the habit of mixing things up badly). They are unable to lie and are often known for trickery The Unseelie court is the dark court known for being ruthless and rather blood thirtsy The Seelie Court is the more known court they love to play pranks and do now care about the casualties that come about from them once again I have Linkage XD MonstropediaAlso I would advise against summoning for Fae or the sight without a good knowledge of how to handle such things Faeries have been know to scratch the eyes out of peoples head who had the sight

Hmmm...I'm not sure I would categorize the sidhe within the Seelie and Unseelie Courts as strictly good and evil respectively, but otherwise, a nice, general blurb about them. heart Perhaps we could introduce the Seelie and Unseelie in more detail in upcoming weeks? Or even in this thread? kagome_roker This week's creature should be easy since this is a guild dedicated to them.
