DESCRIPTION -
In the Battle Tower, you will battle seven Trainers consecutively in a simple knock-out, progressively becoming more difficult. Before entering, you will choose three Pokémon to battle, and the only rule is that you aren't allowed to bring Pokémon with the same items here. Consumed items, such as Berries, will be replaced after each battle. Your Pokémon will also be healed completely after each battle. After each battle, you will then have the option to continue, rest, retire, or watch a replay of the battle. The difficulty of battles here is based on how many rounds you endure. After three rounds, or twenty trainers, the Tower Tycoon, known only as Khan, will most likely challenge you to a battle. Win, and you get bucket-loads of BP. Lose, and you walk away with a kick to the ego.

LOCATION -
The Battle Tower is the northern-most facility in the Frontier.

PEOPLE -
Win or die, is the Tower's unofficial motto.

RESOURCES/EVENTS/PLACES OF INTEREST -
?: - Are you kidding? The whole place is a place of interest, and every battle an event!

MYTH/LORE -
Oooh, shiny Pidgey . . .

"Well...I'll say the Tower's been taken care of while I was gone. Windows are still there. No zombies, broken floor tiles, hell the elevators are still working." Khan muttered as he stepped through the automatic doors of the Battle Tower. As soon as he stepped in he was greeted by the surprise of dozens of trainers, all sitting the lobby. Some were even fighting each other. "What is the meaning of this? " Khan growled to the nearest attendant who whispered into his ear that all of these trainers had beaten the 21 trainer challenge and were waiting to challenge him.

"Figure out which 21 trainers lost to these knuckleheads. Then fire them. I got some butts to kick." Khan growled as he entered the elevator. Pressing the button 3rd floor button, waited for the doors to shut. As they did, he smirked slightly.

It was good to be back.

“ Isn't battling trainers why we became frontier brains? ”
“ No, battling pokemon is why we became frontier brains. Battling trainers is what makes us miserable. ”

"Well, Sheldon. Now we wait." The Tower Tycoon stated as he kicked up his feet and laid them out on the reception the desk. The attendants all gave him disapprovingly glares, but it wasn't like they'd do anything about it. Nope. They wouldn't tell their boss where to put his feet, would they? Not at all.

Oh life was good for one Mr. Khan Ikegami.

The glass doors slid open; stepping through them, a woman with short, dark hair, a neutral-coloured outfit and an egg tucked underneath her arm.
Leila walked towards the front desk, her boots making a soft tap as they met the ceramic floor.

She leaned on the desk, before Khan. "Nice place you have here," she said, even though the aesthetic of the lobby wasn't to her tastes; despite that, she still thought it was quite a nice place.
She glanced at the Shellder in the glass, momentarily wondering if that was the same batch of tea from before or if he brewed more and replaced the tea in the glass. She really couldn't rule out either.

She grabbed a dusk ball from her belt, tossing it in her free hand a couple of times. "Ready to get started?"

"So nice of you to show up. I was starting to think that I perhaps scared you off with my initial...aggressiveness." The Tower Tycoon said with a smirk as he realized that Leila was standing in front of him. Hopping out of his chair and swiping the cup of tea with him, much to the surprise of Sheldon, Khan strutted his way off towards one of the many doors that lined the Tower. Leading Leila, he started to speak, "Well then, this will be quite fun. Now if you'll follow me I'll show you to one of the many arenas that we have here in the Battle Tower. However, first we'll have to take a small elevator trip to the 2nd floor. This bottom floor is for the vic---erm, I mean trainers." Khan jested with a smirk. Looking over to Leila he asked plainly, "So, which one of your lovely pokemon will I have the pleasure of fighting?"

Leila chuckled at Khan's little joke. She always enjoyed trouncing trainers that were unprepared for her fighting style (which, she guessed, would be all the more common now that she is a gym leader), so it was good to see that he shared that interest.

Leila stifled the laugh a few moments after Khan asked who she would be battling with. She took a couple of moments to consider the pokemon she had at hand. She decided against sending Israfil, since she had been getting quite a bit of attention already and Leila wanted to try something different. Samael was a choice she considered, but it didn't feel right to her.

The elevator signaled its arrival with a small ding.

Leila patted the ball of the pokemon she would be using. "That would be Galagliel," she stated rather flatly, a small smile spreading across her face.
She didn't ask which of his pokemon he would be using for the battle. She figured it would be much more fun as a surprise.

"I don't know what a Galagliel is, but I'm sure it'll put up a good fight." Khan replied as the pair stepped out of the elevator. The Tower Tycoon approached a pair of steel doors that seemed to locked tight. Placing his hands on the doors, the Tower Tycoon past the first of many security precautions, which was signaled by a small blip and the words "Hand prints verified" appearing on the door in coloured LCD lights. The Tower Tycoon chose to bypass the rest of the tests with the master code, a three word phrase he would never say in normal conversation. As the door swung open, Khan gestured like a trained English butler, "This way my lady, to the obstacle course." Jester, the Tycoon's furret, peaked out from underneath Khan's hat at the mention of the obstacle course. It hurriedly ran in circles around the fedora that was on his one-eyed trainer's head. "Anyone can fight..." He started as he revealed the entire course to her. "..but it takes a trainer of real skill along with a pokemon of superior agility to complete this course in anything under 1:30:25. Ladies first?"

Khan smirked as he made his offer. Suddenly, Jester didn't look so much playful as he did competitive...however, the competition was cut short as his pokegear rang with a bizarre text from an individual of the Tower Tycoon's past. "I'm sorry..." Khan stated as he tossed the stop watch mechanism to Leila, "...but I have to be somewhere." Without another word, the Tower Tycoon vacated his tower with his Furret in tow.

"It's nice to be home, isn't it?" Khan whispered to his companion has he scratched the Umbreon's ears. Loki simply gave his master a blank and unmoving stare, a common response from the Eeveelution. After a while, the scratching stopped as Khan started to unpack his luggage. He had spent a significant amount of time in Hoenn helping establish a new organization that he had significant interest in. After unpacking what little things he had the Tower Tyoon walked over to the balcony at the top of the Battle Tower and looked out over the now snow covered Battle Frontier. "Doesn't snow very often in Olivine. Wonder if it's just Lugia being nice to us or if Suicune is having it's own fun." Khan muttered to himself as he stared off in to the distance where the Seafoam Islands and Cianwood were presumably.

"Eerily quiet today. Wonder what's going on in Johto." Khan muttered to himself as he settled into a lawn chair on his balcony. Pulling out his yo-yo, the Battle Tower Tycoon settled into his old home. For once, he was peaceful.
