Introduction Welcome to the Elite Penguin Alliance Guild, a place where you can freely express your love of penguins. ^_^ This guide will be regularly updated, so please refer to it every once in a while to keep up! Update:Updates will be shown in the title as a date and a post #. For example, (1/25/06 p6#9) means there is an update regarding the guide made on 1/25/06 on the 9th post on page 6. Also, all updates will be in BOLD VIOLET for one week or until a new update is made (whichever comes first). Below is an outline of the contents of this guide: 2. What is the EPA?

What is the EPA? The Elite Penguin Alliance was started by me, Fairth Elda, but it didn't have its name until Genyusai dubbed it the EPA. My original plan for the EPA was to gather as many people as I could to walk around with me in penguin suits. I roamed Towns asking random people if they wanted to join. Then I met Genyusai. Well, I ambushed him, really. He agreed to help, and that was the start of the EPA. The Elite Penguin Alliance is a gathering of penguin lovers. Here at the guild, we can all express our fondness for these flightless birds, and discuss any topic related to them.

What is my job as a member? Your job is to be a productive member of the guild to keep it active. This means making posts, submitting ideas, and just having fun!

Rules 1. Please do not bump the guild threads other than the Spammy Nonsense thread. The guild is slow enough, and we like to keep track of posts.

How do I donate? There are two funds that you can donate to: The Guild fund, and the mule fund. Donating to the Guild fund contributes to buying subforums. There are other uses for the guild fund which have yet to be released to the guilds on Gaia. To donate to the Guild Fund, simply fill out the amount you want to donate at the bottom of the Guild Home Page. Easy! Donating to the mule fund contributes to buying prizes and items for events and holidays. To donate to the mule fund, you need to have a trading pass, which you can buy Here. (Trading passes are 500g.) Next, you need to start a trade with our mule EPA_Guild and enter the amount you would like to donate into the trade area. Once we receive and accept the trade notice, you will have to confirm the trade a second time to finalize it.

What about events? As we plan events and contests, they will be posted in the Announcements. Here are our events, contests, and holidays so far: Contests EPA Guild Signature Contest!From now until June 2006, every member of the EPA Guild has a chance to create a signature for our guild. You are welcome to be as creative as you want, and please take your time. You may submit your signature at any time before then, but your finished work must be in by June. You may submit up to two different signatures, and there is no entry fee. The winning piece will become our official signature, and I will post it on Photobucket for all of you to use. As for a prize, it was going to be 300g and a piece of the penguin suit, but I will work on a much better prize, and I will keep you updated. Holidays Penguin Awareness Day (January 14th) We'd love to hear from you on how we should celebrate this day. For right now, it will just be a day to have fun with your fellow penguins! The Day of Penguining (January 28th)The Day of Penguining is a special day where members gather in Towns dressed as penguins. Of course, this can be done for every holiday, but this was the original idea for the EPA. World Penguin Day (March of the Penguins) (April 25th) This is the time when penguins begin their migration. We can celebrate by recreating the march in Towns, or whatever you feel is appropiate. This holiday is a ways off, so we are open to suggestions!

What if I have suggestions? If you have any suggestions, you can mention them in the forums, but the best way to get your suggestions to us is to PM either me or Genyusai.

If not what if we feel that we may have a conflict preventing participation in it? Yes, the DoP, as with any holiday or event in the guild, is optional. If you have a conflict of time, don't worry about missing the events.
