Nowhere is it more true than at 'Shimmer and Shine' studios, a modeling agency that sets up shows and hires models of all ages. Expectations are EXTREMELY high, you're to be beautiful at times even if means crossdressing.

Kahna was walking home on from school. The day was sunny and bright but there was nothing bright and sunny about Kahna's day. She's been ridiculed by her classmates today because she was quiet and timid. Kahna never liked dressing up, she didn't see a reason to it. She didn't think she was pretty and none of the boys ever talked to her. She didn't have many friends either.
As she waited for the bus to arrive that would take her home a man approached her and inspected her face. She blushed red at the beauty of this man and was near to fainting when she returned back to reality and stepped away from the man glaring at him. "W-what is it?" she asked.

"Great, you're kidding me this time?! A shoot right now?! Fine, i'll be there in ten minutes and you better be ready to go to work! I need a full crew unlike last time when they failed to show up!" a girl huffed, light blonde hair swinging past her magenta eyes as she ran in her lolita dress (See main image in profile) down the street looking frustrated.
So much makeup to do, her hair would need tons of prepping, her skin wouldn't accquire much attention given it's flawless glow.
This was the big city, the modelling agency district and YES it was a real place.
"No way i'm going to late for my shoot!" she hissed opening the door to a large building and disappearing into the elevator.

Kahna stared at the man who smiled and gave her his card. She blinked and took the care reading it aloud, "Shimmer and Shine Studio's photographer? Akito Takuma?" she mumbled. She looked up to the man who nodded and grinned.
"I have a shoot at the studio and one of my models is late. The other would have a fit if she found out." he explained.
"What's that got to do with me? I'm no model." she said blushing slightly.
"Just come with me please!" he said. He held his hands together in a physical plea and she blushed more.
"W-well-"
"Thank you!" he said grabbing her hand and shoved her in a taxi as they raced to the studio. Kahna was in too much of a shock to argue.

Yuna ran all over the studio getting prepared for her photos she was doing some photo's for a swimsuit magazine. She always did tons of poses for them she would smile, frown, or just look at the camera surprised acting like she did not know she was getting a picture taken of her.

Lilith walked into the room as the elevator came to a halt, several makeup artists and designers ran to her immediately working hurriedly on the impatient model.
With each tug, brush, poke, and yank the girl stood stiff and unmoving until she was hauled away to be dressed in a elegant maroon, gold and white lolita gown.

Victoria sighs and walks around and starts to stretch getting ready for her swimsuit poses, and goes to the make-up and touches hers up a little, and smiles in the mirror. Until a make-up artist yelled at her and she had to do a redo of it, she put on the swimsuit and sighs at it in the mirror.

Once they had gotten to the studio Akito escorted Kahna to the makeup room where Lilith was getting dressed. "Everyone meet Kahna, she's going to replace Arimi who isn't showing up." he said shoving Kahna inside the room. She blushed red and bowed low.
