Chapter Two: The Rani Returns.


Nichelle stood in the new Tardis and smiled as she watched the Doctor run about exited everything was just like his old one, only everything worked and was new, not to mention not stolen either.

Nichelle was glad too, though the new Tardis had some of the look of the eleventh's Tardis control room but that was ok, it was a nice flare.

Once the doctor finished looking around like a little kid trying to pick what toy they wanted to play with first at Christmas but could not decided, he walked to the control panel and began flying the Tardis. Nichelle gave a smirk and stood right beside him, actually helping with out needing a single instruction. This surprised him but also pleased him. Now he had a travel companion that did not need any breaking in. she just took it all in stride and accepted the fact that he was real, and an alien.

He stopped what he was doing for a moment and watched Nichelle work. She had a look of serious concentration on her face as well as a nervous glow in her eyes, just like he had when he first flew a Tardis. His hearts did a double pang of hurt as he then remembered his family and friends, his smile faded away and he turned back to his work.

Nichelle stopped working, getting this odd feeling. She looked around. It was like something or someone was trying to talk to her. So pulled out her little leather book and flicked out the pen and wrote:

What's Up? Did any of you want to talk to me?

Yes! This is eight!

Hi, oh right I found the doctor, he is out of the eye Eight..

We know, that's why I called out to you. He is back to life one in the Timelord lives count, but kept his tenth face…also you can't leave him, not ever.

Why?

Because he is yours. You leave him, he is gone for. He is your Doctor.

"my…Doctor?" she muttered staring at the pages in awe. Her murmur did not go unnoticed and he looked over saying " what now?"

Nichelle looked up from her book her eyes wide with shock. " Doctor…in this book, I have been able to talk to your past lives of four, five, Eight and Nine…and Eight just gave me some news you may wanna sit down for…"

The Doctor gave her a look that Rose once described 'as if you dribbled on your shirt.'


"ok…Don't sit…Doctor, you at one again. Like life one, only you have your tenth face….get it?" Nichelle said shutting her book. " plus Eight gave me a warning, if I leave you like leave traveling with you, you die, end of story, no 13 chances."


The Doctor swayed and said " should have sat down" As a look of pure joy mixed with shock, spread on his face. "this…this is brilliant!" He suddenly burst into movement practically shouting " No wonder I don't feel so tired! Allons-y!"


Nichelle gave a small relived laugh and set the book down and went back to helping him steer the ship.

But the energetic atmosphere was short lived when the Tardis began wailing a warning Klaxon, Both Nichelle and the doctor ran to a screen to see what was up only to bump into each other while saying in unison " What?!"

On the display was a ship, a massive ship that could only be identified as a Dalek one, but on the hull was the insignia of the Timelord race, the mark of Rassilion.

Nichelle looked at the Doctor saying " looks like we have our first clue.."

"Clue nothing…" The Doctor said as communications bleeped a bit with a hail from the ship. He opened up just the audio and said " hello there, what seems to be the problem?"

Nichelle looked at him like he was bonkers but remembered, he was.

A rather haughty female voice answered " Doctor, I do hope you will speak to me and not let one of your…silly little pets talk for you. "

The Doctor fumed a bit and made to open up the video but Nichelle stopped him and shook her head saying " Sorry but he's indisposed at the moment Madam, something he ate didn't agree with him…I think it was those pears…Right john?"

The Doctor looked at her and got the idea and said " oh yeah most likely. Told him they wouldn't agree with him."

Haughty woman spoke again " you will be brought aboard this vessel and you will surrender the Doctor To me!"

"and who exactly are you to give us order?" Nichelle snipped sharply.
"I am The Rani, future Ruler of this simple universe!" The Voice exclaimed as a strange beam yanked the two of them out of the Tardis while it was sent to a cargo bay.

"Transmat beam…I forgot how much I hate them.." The Doctor muttered as he stood up and helped Nichelle to stand. " you alright Nichelle?"

"Yeah…I'll be Fine. If transmat beams are a pain to go through, I would hate to try a time hopper.." Nichelle said as she stood close to the Doctor.

"yeah, not fun trust me" He said as what looked like a Cyberman crossed with a Dalek walked in followed by a woman dressed in red futuristic garb that was a bit form fitting and long curly black hair and dark eyes. " Ho, so its just his little pets. That must mean the doctor is still in his Tardis hiding." She said walking over to the Doctor and Nichelle but stopped as she looked the doctor over. " well now, you are a cute one."

He scooted away from The Rani closer to Nichelle and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "thank you…go away now."

She scowled at him and looked Nichelle over " another human girl. Figures, but what surprises me is how he managed to find out I escaped."

" hello, he trapped you. Of course he would know you stupid old biddy." Nichelle said earning a shocked look from the Doctor. The Rani made to grab Nichelle forcefully by the front of her shirt but she stopped when she looked into Nichelle's eyes.

There was something dangerous about that human girl. The Rani then turned back to the Doctor, still clueless that he was the Doctor, and said " Such a crude girl, why hang about her and that silly fool the Doctor?"

He had to think fast an said " Why else would I be with her? She is my Fiancé."

"F….fiance!" Nichelle stammered out looking at him.

"Well I was going to ask you in a less dangerous setting…." The doctor said with a weak smile that seemed to say play along. Nichelle gulped and said " well…yes then if we get out of this alive John." she then kissed him to prove the engagement to The Rani who simply gagged at them. "pathetic…Take them to a cell till I can contact the Doctor."

One of her metal monstrosities walked forward and dragged the pair away to a cell.

Once inside Nichelle smacked him hard upside the head. And whispered " Are you mad? If the little ploy fails and she finds out you an' I are out of luck."

The Doctor rubbed his cheek and whispered back. " Well I panicked all right. She still thinks I am in my 6...7th life still."

Nichelle kept giving him an angry glare which slowly faded away.

"well we need to get out of here and find out what those weird Cybermen like things are and why she has them." The Blond said taking out the sonic screwdriver and handing it to the Doctor. "I'm quite sure you can get us through stuff better then I can."

The doctor gave her a wide grin and ran to the door to begin breaking them out. Nichelle busied herself with writing to the past Doctors.

Five, I need to talk to six. It's important.

Why? He is not the most pleasant of us…

The Rani has the doctor and I captured and we need to know EVERYTHING he did to trap her the last time.

You could just ask eight that you know.

But six did it, so thus he will remember it better then Eight.

Fine….

Nichelle waited a moment and smiled as new words formed

What do you want?

Man you are not nice….No wonder people disliked you, look The Rani is loose in my universe and she has made these weird looking things that seem to be a cross between Cybermen and Dalek. She only has a few right now but I do not like the idea of her getting more so how do we stop her?

……..well you just get to the point don't you

Yes, yes I do, now how do I seal her?

You need to-

But the conversation was cut short by the book vanishing from her hands.

"!!! NO! no no no no no no!" she began almost yelling. The Doctor looked over and saw she was worried and frantic. " What happened?" he asked concerned.

"It….The book, it just disappeared right out of my hands….I don't think the Rani took it……she didn't know of it…but, I was asking seven how to trap her again and he was about to tell me when whoosh its gone!" Nichelle answered looking at him her green eyes swirling with worry and fear.

"Nichelle, calm down, we will find it, I promise, and I'll remembered it my self when the time comes to it, don't worry, it may have been…years since I did it, but I can still do it." He said taking her face in his hands gently. "Trust me. Everything will be perfectly fine."

Nichelle nodded and put her hands on his and squeezed them "thanks…"

The Doctor flashed his smile and flipped his hands around so he was now holding hers and pulled her up off of what she had been sitting on ( A small cot bed) and headed for the door. " then lets be off and leave with a mess behind us."

Meanwhile however, far away back in Georgia….

The Janitor sat on a small bench outside of a McDonalds as if waiting for some one while holding a leather book. A grim look on his face.

He knew that if Nichelle had gotten the information to stop Rani now, it would make everything way too easy. So for now he's just…leave the book in the care of her odd little friend josh 'joshing' King.

The very youth came out the doors of the fast food place only to be stopped by a strange mop handle moving up in his way. "Hold up lad. I have something to ask you."

The youth, whom wore a grey tee shirt, a black vest and kaki shorts and a straw hat atop his head looked over through a pair of glasses " yeah….why?"

"This book belongs to a Nichelle Milkas, You call her Nakki. Do you know where she is?" The Janitor Asked with a slight smirk.

"No, Her folks said she left the country to be an au pair or something." the youth said shrugging.

"ha-ha her parents are good. She is not Josh 'Joshing' king, out of the country. She is out of the Planet all together. Your friend is currently timetabling with the Doctor trying to stop the Rani. And she almost cheated using her little book." waves said book in the air. "And we can't have that now can we?"

Joshing stared at the man." Who are you?"

"You should know lad. You 'Created' me remember?" The janitor said standing up and looming over joshing. "Loom and all."

He looked the looming Janitor over and blinked "The Janitor?!"

"One and the same." He said glad the boy had gotten it. "So will you watch this book till it is time for her to get it back?"

Joshing nodded numbly as the Janitor handed him the book.

"All I ask lad is that you leave that book shut. Only your friend Nichelle, or the Doctor can read that book. Let alone open it. What do you say?" The Janitor asked slash ordered.

Joshing thought moment as he turned the book over in his hands. "I'll do it. Wait…did you say Doctor?"

The Janitor laughed "yes I did, and like you want, he does not know I exist, but there will come a time when he will find the Timelords of this universe. They are in my opinion far greater ones then back home."

Joshing made to ask another question but the Janitor leaned on his mop and vanished from site right before him. Joshing blinked, grinned and looked down at the book and wondered what the strange markings on the front where. " looks like Gallifreyan…I wonder what it means.."

A soft voice echoed from nowhere, a woman's voice, and said " it is a name, but not your's to know…but taking the book will bring great consequence."
"That was weird…" Joshing said pocking the book. " Not for me to know eh? I'll ask Nakki later then when I go to giver her book back.."

He then left to go home pretending nothing happened.


Back to our heroes, whom had made it safely through the Rani's ship thus far…

"And the cargo bay!" The doctor said smiling while entering a room.

"Noooo this is not the Cargo bay Doctor, this looks like a minor communications hub." Nichelle said.

The Doctor frowned. "wot? No, it has to be the Cargo…oh…your right…it is a Communications hub…" then he remembered Nichelle saying something about her being right a lot in their adventures through space and time. " Darn it…you where right about being right…"

Nichelle smiled sneakily and headed into the hub. " yeah and I am most likely right about what we can do while here…lets see if we can't download some information," Pulls out a Droid cell phone, which is blue. "Onto this using the sonic screwdriver?"

The Doctor smiled took the phone then gave Nichelle a quick peck on the cheek saying with a smile "You are brilliant!" He then scampered to the controls and got to work, leaving Nichelle blushing furiously.

Nichelle put a hand over her heart, it was beating rapidly and she felt the blush on her cheeks grow a bit hotter at the fear of him hearing her heart , but by luck, He didn't and she relaxed a little.

The Doctor worked as fast as he could go and filled that phone up with all he could find till the computer locked him out. "Well, she knows we got out… time to leave!" He ran back to Nichelle and grabbed her by the hand leading her out and down a hall way, not sure if it lead to the Tardis or to danger.

The Rani was both amused by the two humans courage to escape and then steal from her. The man possessed unusual intellect and that mouthy girl had a strange energy emitting form her body. It was both familiar to the Rani and unknown. She would have to do some experimenting on the girl. As for the man…she'd make him into one of her pets, she needed one that had enough of a mind left to follow orders properly.

Yes perhaps that would get the Doctor to quit hiding in his Tardis once he sees his precious little humans are in danger. She let out a cruel laugh as her prey ran it self right into her throne room as she called it.

"And, this is not the cargo bay." The Doctor muttered as the door's slammed behind them and locked shut.

" Really john, I could not tell." Nichelle said sarcastically as they walked further into the room. "But I am glad to see that the Loony moved the Tardis here for us."

The Rani glared at Nichelle and stood up " He picked well this time in his Companions this time. But not well enough." she snapped her fingers and a blue field dropped down around the Doctor and Nichelle. " you two will be the first to enjoy my new experiments" She walked up to the Doctor who was eyeing her with disgust. " hmmm yes you sir will become my personal servant as a upgraded version of my Cylek. As for the girl…meh, I will just see what that odd energy my scans picked up on her are and then see what kinds of things I can do to a humans DNA."

"Cylek?" Nichelle asked looking at the Rani confused " is that what those stupid tin cans are called? Quite a silly name, its not that creative all you did was take the cy out of Cyberman and the lek out of Dalek and mush them together."

The Rani fumed at the girl and shouted " Be quite you insufferable ape!"

"As long as I'm not some shriveled up old hag." Nichelle said shrugging.

The Rani huffed and walked up to the Doctor's time-lock cell and jabbed a device into it and turning it on. Arcs of electricity flew through the energy cell causing the Doctor to fall to the ground crying out in pain.

This was The Rani's first and only mistake.

Nichelle swore to her self she could hear the roar of a storm in her ears, when she had been put in the cell it was soft, but now that the Rani had attacked the Doctor the storm was practically a hurricane in her head. Then everything was blurry. But she could hear.

The Rani was screaming now, more in fright then rage. Then she heard the clank of metal feet then more yelling. Then she felt two arms wrap around her and someone tell her to stop. The someone was also calling her name. she knew who it was, the doctor… why was he telling her to stop? What was she doing?

Then Nichelle's blurry vision faded and she saw what was what.

Many of the strange Cylek where laying on the ground and the Rani was retreating into her ship. The Doctor was holding Her and practically carrying her into the Tardis.

"Doctor…what's going on what happened?" she asked a bit panicked as he opened the doors of their ship and went in with her.

"You happened…" He said looking at her a bit terrified. Nichelle stepped toward him and he unintentionally stepped back and flinched a bit, which worried her.

"Doctor….What did I do?" Nichelle asked getting worried that he had flinched away from her.

" I don't know…but it was Very frightening…." He said going around the controls and starting the tardis up " you really have no clue your self?"

Nichelle shook her head. " only that when The Rani put us in the locks….what can only describe to you as a storm just started sounding in my ears and it got louder and like a hurricane when I saw her hurt you…..I could still hear stuff, but it was like everything else was detached…"

The Doctor looked at her and gulped " your hair took the length it had while in the Eye of harmony but your eyes where empty…"

"oh boy.." Nichelle sat down confusion clear on her face. " so I did all that'll…..back there…I…" pulls her knees to her and trembles a bit. " this would be easier to figure out if I had the book. We could ask the past you's in it if something from the eye came back in me when I left it…"

The Doctor listened to her and watched her, Nichelle had returned to herself and right now he was being stupid about it. She obviously had no control over what happened.

"We will find it, it is yours and things always find themselves to their proper owners." He said walking over to her and sitting down beside her.

"shouldn't you be flying the Tardis Doctor?" Nichelle asked her head on her knees afraid to look him in the eye right then.

" she is on auto." He answered putting an arm around her. " Look I know what happened was not you…and something like that has happened to me…involving raknoths.."

Nichelle sniffed a bit and looked up her eyes a bit teary. " I know."

He raised a brow. " ok, this is one of things of this universe you need to explain to me."

Nichelle gave a weak laugh and then began explaining to the Doctor that in her world his life was a television show.

Soon the incident on the Rani's ship was a distant, but not forgotten event.

Unamusing Amusment park.

THe Doctor, inorder to help Nichelle cheer up about what happened with the Rani, decideds to bring her little brother on the Tardis and take them someplace from Nichelle's past to cheer her up. but the fun wont last for something is takeing the Amusment out of the Park by capturing all the children...

Chapter four: The Storm’s eye.


When the Doctor arrived with Nichelle among the crowd of children and ecstatic parents, whom had lost their children in the course of the day from all over the park, he found Joshing and Denver waiting by the Tardis while everyone else seemed to wander past it not seeing it.

“good girl” The Doctor whispered as he neared the Tardis only to get a swift punch in the stomach as he still held Nichelle. He looked up and coughed out “ Wot in the name of Rassilion did I do to deserve that?!”

“What did you do to Nakki?” Joshing Demanded, knowing deep down it was and was not the doctor’s fault. The timelord stood shakily and said “ I didn’t Do anything too her. I am confused and worried by it as well Josh was it?”

“Joshing” He corrected.

“Right…There was more in that punch then just concern for your friend “ The Doctor wheezed out while moving to straighten back up. “ but can we wait till we’ve gotten out of here.”

The Doctor walked back to the Tardis followed by a fuming Joshing and a worried Denver.

Once inside, The timelord set Nichelle down on a conveniently placed couch then turned to Joshing “ all right, lets hear it. I can assume only that I did something you didn’t like, or approved of.”

"Well, perhaps I should start with you BREAKING TIME? Really, you messed with a fixed point in time and space - you knew better. And then you didn't want to die, you coward - 'Everything has its time', as you told Rose."

" i think you have a bit more to say..." waits.

"Oh, and you need a breath mint."

“finished?”

“Yes I am finished” joshing said pulling out a pickle and setting it on the doctor’s head.

The Doctor plucked the pickle off of his head and set it sown someplace and got to flying the Tardis. Nichelle knew strange people. “ Joshing, I have been wondering, how did you get Nichelle’s book….”

“ That is for humans to know and Timelords never to find out. Besides you need to think of driving not books.” Joshing said with a nod.

The Doctor muttered something and went about his work only to stop when Nichelle sat up away yelling something in Gallifreyan.

To joshing it was beyond him but the Doctor felt his legs buckle. “…First you can fly a Tardis…now you can speak Gallifreyan….what can you not do?”

“Figure out why I go nuts every time I get scared for the people I know.” Nichelle said getting up off the couch much to the Doctor’s protest. She gave him a look that said chill out and he did, a tiny bit. Nichelle took her place beside him at the controls and got to work.

Joshing looked at her brother and whispered “ Do not tell anyone what you saw, this is a super important secret.”

Denver nodded and said “ That The Doctor likes my sister?”

Joshing looked at the boy “no, that she can do what she did with the whole long hair glowing eyes thing. Why did you think The Doctor likes her?”

Denver shrugged “Well he looked really worried when he was carrying her and He stares at her when they fly the Tardis. Plus what ever she said in that language made him blush as his legs buckled.”

Man, that kid was observant, joshing thought as the Tardis engines died down and the Doctor turned to joshing and said “ ok your home, out.”

Nichelle whapped the doctor upside the head gently “ Behave. Thank you for helping Denver Joshing and please tell whoever gave you my book back he is sooo getting slapped if he takes my stuff again.”

Joshing looked at her oddly “ How do you know..”

“Joshing, right now I am not sure of anything anymore, after all look who is standing next to me!” Nichelle replied as she strode to the doors and opened them. “See you round my friend, keep earth safe for me kay?”

Joshing Gave a salute as he ran out of the Tardis. “Hang on this is Texas!”

“Give my best to your lady!” Nichelle Called from the door before shutting it. She turned to the Doctor and yelled “ Go go go go!”

The Doctor nodded and took them away leaving Joshing in Texas.


After a little while Nichelle walked her Brother to her family and told them some rather shocking things.

First off that she was not coming home until the Rani was officially gone, and secondly, she gave them the location of the mansion hidden in the woods. When asked why, Nichelle explained with just this “ I don’t want the Rani finding you guys. Get everyone we know and love into that mansion and don’t leave it, everything will be provided for inside it.” then she ran back to the Tardis without saying goodbye and practically dove in the doors.

The doctor was just about to come out to talk to her folks when she suddenly latched to him saying “ don’t I’ve explained as best I can with out giving mush information, can we just go…” He had a feeling she was crying and wrapped his arms around the girl. “Alright. We’ll just go. But are you sure you do not want to say good bye?”

“It makes it seem like I won’t see them again, this way I feel like I will when this is all done…” Nichelle said letting go of him and wiping away tears. “ when I say good bye to people….I usually end up never seeing them again…”

The Doctor watched her as she slump down into the couch and followed her after a moment of silence grew between them. “ you will, I promise that you will see your family again safe, sound and whole.” He sat down and gave her an encouraging smile.

She looked over at The Doctor and gave him a small smile of her own.

“oh come on, I know you can smile better then that.” The Doctor chided kindly.

Nichelle shook her head “ not right now I can’t…”

The Doctor gave a slight pout then got a devious idea and shouted “Timelord Tickle attack!”

Nichelle was caught off guard as the Doctor began to tickle her. Unable to do anything, all she could do was laugh and try to swat him away.

This when on for a little while till the Tardis began to start on its own, as if someone was calling out to it. The Two travelers leapt up from the little fight of tickling to see what was going on and if they could take control of the Tardis.

It was a long fight but eventually they got the Tardis to calm down and land.

“That was bizarre…” Nichelle muttered looking at the Doctor. “Where do you think we are?”

“don’t know…Lets go see!” He said a bit exited while grabbing her by the hand and pulling her out. “ yiiii we seem to be developing a habit of dragging each other out to see places..”

The Doctor stopped and looked at her “ We are? Well so long as it is not right into trouble I think we can stick with this habit.”

Nichelle blushed a bit, glad he was not faceing her to see it. She did not want to break this habit either.

But when they stepped outside, a few guns clicked at them. Nichelle blinked and said “ Doctor…are those Mounties?”

The Doctor nodded “ Yes…yes they are and they have guns pointed at us…”

“I can see they have guns Doctor…and I can also see they are pointed at us….What I want to know is will they shoot at us?” Nichelle said scooching closer to the
Doctor.

“Hopefully they wont…” The Doctor said wrinkling his brow. “ I’d like to stay this me as long as I can while here…”

The Mounties simply stared at the odd pair then decided to arrest them and question them later.

Later inside a cell block. Nichelle managed to convince one of the Mounties to let her use MSN messenger and sent a bit of an S.O.S to two friends of hers.


She just prayed Dan and Jeremy answered the messages with a yes.


Twenty minutes later two youths walked in, one extremely tall, more so then the Doctor, the other slightly taller then Nichelle but not as tall as the first youth. They spotted Nichelle Who was waving franticly. They ran down and looked at their long time internet pal. “hi guys, nice of you to swing by…”

The tall youth, a red haired kid with sunglasses on in a Hawaiian shirt and jeans looked at her and asked “ Why are you in Jail nikki?”

“Cause the Doctor and I got arrested for landing in a crime scene.” Nichelle answered moving aside to reveal a man dressed in pinstripe laying on a small cot in the Cell.

“ and might I add they did not have to arrest us!” The doctor said a bit indignant. “We came along quite peacefully.”

The second youth looked at the man and gawked. “Nichelle, you have officially become queen of awesome.”

“then now would be a bad time to tell you that I have a Tardis too?” Nichelle asked with a wide grin. “ look Dan, Jeremy, I need you two to help The Doctor and I when we get out of here. Something is up here in Canada and the Mounties are having a rough go of it.”

“you want us to help you and the doctor?!” The Tall fellow, or Dan, said excitedly.

“Well duh, you guys are the only ones I could call. Cathy, she is another friend who lives here…was offline so I could not get a hold of her.” Nichelle answered calmly.

The Smaller fellow, or Jeremy, with dark brown hair, and wore a long sleeved shirt with jeans, and a smaller scarf then Nichelle’s gave a nod “ ok, we are in…nice scarf by the way.”

Nichelle smiled and shrugged “ thanks Jeremy.…got it from a friend” She looked over at the Doctor as she said that and He gave a cheeky grin. “Well we will be out in about an hour, meet us in the car depot lot, that’s where the Tardis is being held.”


Both Dan and Jeremy nodded. Jeremy began to leave while Dan stayed back and said “ it’s really cool to meet You doctor.”

The doctor sat up from his spot on the cot and smiled “ another fan I take it?”

“Not exactly, all I know about you I learned from Nikki.” Dan said with a smile and shrug. “ well see you at the Tardis!”





One long hour later…

Nichelle and the Doctor arrived at the depot running toward the Tardis where Jeremy and Dan waited for them.

“Sorry for the Wait guys, had to swipe data from the computers to find out what the crime scene was…Dan, we will need your Zombie killing stash, and Jeremy as for you, remember the media morph thing you thought up?” Nichelle said more then asked.

“Well yeah I do, why?” Jeremy responded confused.

“ Good guess what, you can do it, just concentrate as hard as you can and it will come to you. Now into the Tardis we have Dan’s stash to raid and an explanation to give!” Nichelle said as if she had just eaten a million jelly babies.

Dan leaned over to the doctor and said “ Why is she so…hyper?”

“ A lot of it has to do with being cooped up in that cell, another is she is trying to keep her mind off of something that happened not to long ago” The Doctor answered as he opened the door to the Tardis. “ she will calm down…” Nichelle dashed in past him shouting woo. “….or not…”

Dan shrugged and followed the Doctor in with Jeremy, whom was trying to get his scarf to move. It twitched ever so slightly.

A good sign in the young mans mind.

Nichelle moved around the controls rapidly only to stop mid way and crumple to the ground, the Doctor leaped forward and caught her. “ I knew she should not have gotten up so soon.” He lifted the now snoozing Nichelle up and deposited her on the couch.

Dan looked her over and spotted a book on the floor. He leaned over and picked it up. “Hey doctor, where did this come from?”

The Doctor looked up and neatly took the book saying “ That’s Nichelle personal journal.”

Dan raised a eye brow “ A personal journal that glows slightly and is warm to the touch?”

The doctor gave him a look that said ‘Leave it alone’ and Dan did.

“So Doctor, since our fearless leader of this venture is asleep, Why don’t you fill us in on what she has pulled us into” Jeremy said leaning on a coral arch thingy.

The Doctor nodded and began explain “ lately, from what they have gathered, is hunters have been reporting that the animals they have shot, get back up and walk away as if nothing happened but clearly have a killing wound. And the crime scene we landed in was a hunter’s camp…the whole place was covered in blood and the hunter was found with a hallow skull.”

Dan’s eyes almost popped out of his skull. “that scene you described was like a zombie attack.”

“Yes well it was.” The doctor said landing the Tardis at Dan’s home first. “ quick go get the things you need and get back in here. We got work to do.”

Dan ran out like a zombie was behind him and began tossing everything he could think of into a black back pack. Eventually he was done and raced out back to the Tardis.

The Doctor checked the bag and gave and arched eyebrow of approval. “ hmm a few things I would not use…but since its zombies….I’ll let it slide..” He handed Dan his bag back and started up the Tardis with a bit of a shudder and shake and was off.

While they flew, something in the Tardis rang. The Doctor looked all over and went “Ah HA there it is.” and picked up a phone saying “ Hello?”

A female voice responded with “ It’s him Nick!” A male voice in the back ground then said “ Well ask him where he is!” “ok ok sheet, Where are you Doctor?”

“Who is this?” The Timelord asked a little confused.

“You don’t remember me? Aww…” The Female voice said sadly.

The Doctor narrowed his eyes, she sounded familiar then said “ No….you can’t be….You…the…evacuation group vanished…how..”

“You do remember! Listen Doctor we can talk more once you get to the camp site!” The female voice said hanging up before the Doctor could do anything. He looked at Dan and Jeremy and said “….. When Nichelle wakes up, remind me to hug her.”

Dan and Jeremy looked at each other like ‘Wha?” but gave a nod.

A few moments later the Doctor landed his Tardis. “ all right we are here.” He Grabbed his coat and made to leave but he stopped and looked at Nichelle worried that she still had not awoken. “….Jeremy…could you stay here in the Tardis and keep an eye on Nichelle for me…” He asked of the scarf clad lad.

“ sure thing Doctor!” Jeremy said saluting with the Scarf.

“ ah, you mastered moving it in a short time…Brilliant” The doctor said smiling as he left with Dan, only to pause a moment at the door saying “ Keep her safe…”

Jeremy stole a glance at Nichelle and raised an eye brow. “ somebody has charmed the doctor” smiles “Good going girl”

With the Doctor and Dan.

“well this is the site…no Mounties…even better…but..hmmm a Green door…” The Doctor said Walking over to a curiously placed door standing on its own. Out popped the young woman that had followed him and Nichelle at the park followed by the young man.

“ Doctor!!!” The young woman cried hugging hum. He tried to pry her off and said “ hello to you too Apprentice….”

“Heh, aren’t you curious on how I am still alive?” The young woman, or apprentice as the doctor called her, asked.

“ Ok how?” he asked pulling out of her hug.

“Me and a few other young ones where evacuated by a Time lady who called herself Mo. She saved a lot of us….oh and the guy by me is Nick, well he likes to be called that, he also goes by the undertaker and he’s a timelord of this universe…”

Nick waved “ Hello doctor, Apprentice has not stopped talking about you since you got here. She finally hushed up when we sent the idea about you to a man here on earth…”

“So…this whole time…Nikki’s favorite show has always been real?” Dan said looking at the two beings before them.

Nick nodded “ Yep.”

Dan Gave a whistle “wow.”

Nick gave a laugh “ Well App and I came here to help you doctor by the way, The Lord president Rodage asked us to. So lets get to looking for clues!”

The Doctor felt a smile pass on his lips, He was very pleased that Nichelle was right.


For a few hours the four search for clues, tips, anything that might tell them something. Eventually the long work paid off as a group of Zombie bears appeared. Dan got out a can of aerosol and a Zippo lighter.

Soon the group was fighting for their lives as the undead wild life attacked. The Doctor saw that there was little chance of wining this fight and ordered everyone into his Tardis because it was closer.


Apprentice brought out something that looked like a set of headphones but turned the ear pods outwards and set off a sonic blast with them which end up giving them time to reach the Tardis.

Dan, Nick, and Apprentice made it in, but there was one missing.

“Hang on the Doctor! He’s still out there! Danny said turning to try and go back, but the Tardis started remotely and whirred away from the fight. Apprentice and Nick tried to stop the flight but jumped from the controls as they sparked.

“ He’s using the Sonic screwdriver to send us away!” Nick shouted with slight irritation.

Jeremy Blinked and looked to Dan for an explanation.

“They are Timelords, Apprentice and Undertaker, undertaker prefers Nick.” Dan answered as Nick waved once as he tried again to stop the Tardis.

Jeremy’s eyes widened and he looked at Nichelle “ Then What do we tell her when she gets up?”

“Well you can start with why the Doctor is missing.” The Blond said sitting up from her spot wide awake. “And You two Get away from there!” She ran to the controls and began dashing about them despite the sparks and arcs of electricity. “ You two fly a Type 70 don’t you?” she asked while calming the Tardis down.

“Well…Yes but how’d you know?” Nick asked staring at Nichelle.

“Hah…That’s the thing I am not quite sure!” She responded “ Ok, I’ve picked up on the Doctor. We are going in to get him so Hold on!”

The Tardis landed with a sharp jolt and Nichelle ran out, grabbing the journal as she passed it without even looking at it and exited. “ Well come on you guys, we have to save that self sacrificing loony!”



Now for the events that took place as the group fought to fly the Tardis…


The Doctor gave a nod as the Tardis disappeared, he could keep those brutes busy while The all got away safely. And he could n** off in the other Tardis once the others where safely away. Or so that was the plan….

As he neared the green door a set of Cylek teleported before it stopping his run and trapping him between the bears and the metal monsters.

“Well this plan backfired…” He muttered as the Cylek grabbed his arms and bound him with dwarf star chains.

“ I was hoping you’d come to investigate the strange happening Doctor” Said the Rani as she walked forward with a dark smile. “Now you see, these little animals are just a test I ran, and since it was massively successful I can now run the program on humans and use the dead to create my army of Cylek. And you want to know who their general will be?”

The Doctor gulped, he could guess the answer but let the Rani say it any way. “ You Doctor, but I wont place your mind in a metal head, you could just regenerate to escape such a thing…your going to be come my first full body upgrade. Congratulations.”


He was about to rebuttal when the familiar whir of the Tardis sounded. “What? How I…” He stopped talking as Nichelle Ran out, book in hand. She saw the Rani and gave a very cold stare. “Well, here is a not so present surprise.”

The Rani smirked “ oh you can’t win little human! I have all the playing pieces and I even have this,” Holds up a holo disk and shows the mansion in the woods her family was hiding in. “Took me some time, but I found it, and I have laser satellites trained on them. One step closer and they are dead.” Nichelle flinched and narrowed her eyes as her friends came out just as the Rani vanished with her prizes. “Nick, Apprentice, go to your Tardis, thank god she left that behind, and get help. I don’t care who you get just get it!”

Nick nodded and said “ Come on App,” and grabbed the female Timelord’s arm who was staring at Nichelle with wonder as she was dragged away and whispered “…It’s mo…” before vanishing into the Green door.

Nichelle turned back to her two friends “ Ok Dan, Jeremy Get ready, we have Work to do.” She marched back to her Tardis and flipped open the journal.

Calling all Doctor’s we have a situation. She wrote on a page with a flurry.

Rani has The doctor, need help, find as many people you can and tell me where they are so I can get them.

With out waiting for a reply she snapped the book shut and set it down as her two friends came in.

The both gasped as they watched her hair lengthen. Jeremy walked over to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. “Nikki?”

“Don’t worry Jeremy. I’m fine.” she said moving away and working the controls. “ listen, if I get out of control, run don’t stay just bloody run.” with that she flew the Tardis after the Rani.


Apprentice and Nick had landed on a planet in the Andromeda system and ran out in a hurry, Nick called out for his parents.

“DAD! MOM!” his folks, a man in a top hat with white hair, a Hawaiian shirt and jeans along with a very tall woman with long red hair looked over.

“Yes Lad?” His father asked with a raised eye brow.

“The doctor’s been Captured, We where sent here to get help. The Rani…she’s got zombies…and plans to make the doctor into a Cylek.” Breaths in. “ And We think the book wont be able to stop her rampage this time if Nichelle’s anger gets to strong!”

The Top hated man looked at the woman next to him. “ Well Rossi my dear, it seems we must go and give aid to these youngsters!”


The woman, Rossi, hugged the man and said “ Well what are we waiting for my dear What sir?! Lets get to saving!”






Inside the book, the Doctors one to nine all had gathered.

One stood before the rest looking at his future selves. “ Well we all have been told what needs to be done and so we shall go and find help for your young friend. Four, you must go to Georgia and look for her friends there. Nine, you will check through London. Eight you will help four. The rest , you will help me in providing solid forms for these three Doctors.”

They all nodded and got to work.

In Georgia a youth sat at a laptop in a simple internet café when a man in cloths he could only describes as straight form Tom Bakers Doctor who walked in. the youths name was Rim, he was a friend of Nichelle’s from an art site and went by the name Rvmiv.

The Strange man walked over to him and gave a wide smile “ Ah found you, care for a jelly baby?”

Rim found himself at a complete loss for words but nodded. The man handed him some and said “ I’ll need your help, a friend of yours is in serious trouble. You know here as Nakori I believe.”

Rim found his voice and said “ is this a trick?”

“Nope. I am indeed the Fourth Doctor and I am asking you to come with me to help save the earth.”

Rim shut his lap top and said “ Lead the way!”

In London, Nine walked around looking for someone, whom he spotted walking to a bus stop. He ran after them and grabbed their arm. “ Ava- Connie?” He asked looking at a young woman.

She looked up at the man and blinked with shock “ You cant be Christopher Ellingston!”

“ your right I’m not, I’m The Doctor, and we have no time to explain! I need your help.” He said sharply as he lead her away from the bus stop.


Back in the states, eight had just located Nichelle’s friend Peggy and convinced her to come along. He met up with Four whom had Rim with him. “ ah good, now all we need to do is wait for Nine to teleport here with his and we can get going!” Eight said nodding to Rim.

Peggy smiled at the boy and waved “ Hi I’m Peggy!”

The youth nodded and said “ Rim.”

“We get to save the Doctor and earth! Isn’t this awesome?!” She said clearly happy.

“Yeah…But I don’t know how this is even happening!” Rim replied a bit worried.

“ Oh, eight explained that to me, You see, Nichelle fell into the eye of harmony, met him and three others Doctors, gets out, finds out the Rani has escaped here and now she is fighting her while flying through space and time with The tenth Doctor!” Peggy said in one breath.

Which impressed the three men. Nine appeared at the end of her explanation to Rim with Ava-Connie and said “I’ve got one more to get, just hang on.” Then he vanished leaving Ava-Connie with them.


Angel, A new friend of Nichelle’s was busy trying to find out what was going on with the News, Reports of metal men invading the white house and other various leaders of the world’s homes was all over. When someone opened the front door of her house and walked in. she looked and Gasped as the ninth Doctor walked in. “ angel, come with me, Your needed.”

She numbly nodded allowing Nine to lead her out of the house and to teleport them to the other Doctors.
Four and eight gave her a warm welcome as nine returned and the all said at once “ Join hands and hold tight.”

Rim, Peggy, Ava-Connie and Angel did as told and took hold of eat others and the Doctors’ hands. In a whoosh of wind they where off to help Nichelle and her crew.


With Nichelle and co…

What Dan could only describe as watching a hurricane build up strength, was what he saw happening to his friend Nichelle. They’d found The Rani’s hide out, an abandoned Warehouse, and for the past twenty minutes they’d been fighting Zombie moose and Cylek. The longer they took in getting inside the less Nichelle was herself.

But thankfully she was calm, like the eye of a storm. He just hoped that they saved the doctor before the Storm she had brewing would hit.

Nichelle and her friends have all gathered and with the help of three Doctors past and the Back up Apprentice and Undertaker, or Nick as he prefers, have brought, they will fight The Rani in hopes of saving the Doctor before he is upgraded.

Lets hope the do it in time, because Nichelle is not a happy camper.

Her Doctor Chapter Six: Timelords and Heartbreak



" I'm what!?!" Nichelle asked shocked. Looking at the Two pasts of the doctor.

"You heard four, and he is right, You are slowly, thanks to the Eye of harmony, becoming a Timelord. But the Transformations you take are dangerous, they make your whole cellular structure unstable and cause you to well as App said…Explode."

Four nodded in agreement " and since Eight was the one to make the book, he can explain the rest, I'm off to help Rim." He gave a nod, put his hat back on and walked out.

Eight sighed as Nichelle sat up fully from her bed and put her feet to the floor. "So…the journal protects me and absorbs the extra energy….what happens if I…"

Eight understood her unfinished question. " you will regenerate…"

"oh…whew.." she said standing up a bit wobbly. "and how's everyone taking the news that Timelords are actually real?"

Eight laughed " Nine is helping Angel master a device he made for her that's a mix of a sonic screwdriver and a video game weapon called a Key blade. Dan's learned he can transfer into a sharp shooter named frost and Peggy is now doing quite well with her abilities, Ava Connie is keeping everyone focused and has a battle plan set up. She also has show some interesting abilities of her own. She managed to open a small door way to our old universe and brought Jenny here for added help. But it was a one use deal sadly."

Nichelle gave a warm grin " this is good…" She walked to the door. " So…who is in charge here?"

"Ah… a Time lady by the name Rodage." Eight said following her. "Apparently the Time lady that helped bring Apprentice and the other Timelords that are not native here, was her sister, she went by…" he was interrupted by Nichelle saying the name for him.

"Mosdrashytonytanmorenoldacheengoldilden" she looked at Eight a bit shocked.
"what does that have to do with me?"

Eight looked away and said " Every world has an alternate and every world has doubles of someone in it, sometimes the world can allow the doubles to co-exist with out trouble. You are the double of Mosdras. But know this, you are totally you, your not her. Never let anyone say your not you." Eight finished this by taking her by the shoulders.

" Eight…Who was it that saved me…I remember seeing someone with a cane…but that's it.." Nichelle said locking eyes with him. Eight was a bit surprised by her question. "No…I don't to be honest.." Eight answered while Nichelle walked out of his grip and continued on to find the others. " don't worry about it then…" She said vanishing through a door.

Eight shook his head and walked a separate way, he had to tell Nine that Nichelle now knew her future.

Nichelle was relived the room she walked into was the proper one when she saw all her friends bust at work, well everyone but Nine and Angel. She assumed they where still working on Angel's key blade.


Dan was the first to spot her and ran up giving her a hug which lifted her clear off the ground. "Hey Nikki glad you're ok!"

Nichelle smiled as he set her down. " Well you may wanna sit down…I have some surprising news."

He nodded and whistled for everyone to hush and listen while he sat down.

"here it goes," she muttered before speaking aloud. "Ok well, I have learned from Four and Eight something both shocking…and very good. I am slowly but surely becoming a Time lady. Go me….but there is something I want all of you to do for me, If The Rani and I meet in a fight, Don't get involved. I'm sure you all will pass this on to Angel. But if there comes a time when I will need help, by all means, jump the Rani, but if I am doing fine and holding well against the loon, stay away."

Everyone stared at her in shock but nodded. Nichelle gave a smile and then turned to notice a young blond woman with blue eyes standing next to her. " Oh! Hi…I'm Nichelle."

The Blond smiled and said " I'm Jenny, and I am ready to go save my dad!"

Nichelle grinned " Good. Cause its time to assign teams again. Rim can you call Nine, Eight and angel, we will need them here. "

Rim nodded and used an intercom to call the three. After a few minutes of waiting the three walked in ready to hear the plans.

"Ok, Angel, Nine, Apprentice, Dan and Jeremy, your job once we get into the Rani's ship is to free as many humans or other sentient beings she has captive for her Cylek suits. Rim, Four, Nick, Jenny, and Peggy, you are on hacking into the Mainframe and taking control of the ship and already made Cylek. Ava Connie, What sir, Rossi and Eight, you lot are with me in finding the Doctor." she turned on her heel and walked out her green eyes flashing golden once.
They all entered respective Tardis' and began their flight to the Rani.

The Rani sat in her private quarters thinking of what she will do first to that little ball of dirt earth now that its defence had fled off into the stars. She smiled at all the possible experiments she could pull off with so many people!

She looked over at a cage which held the Doctor. He was slumped against the far back left corner, either asleep or in a self induced trance. He'd been like that ever since that little human met her end by the Cylek and Zombies.

The Rani was a little put out, normally he would be out of the cage and after her for what she did. But this was just strange, did that girl mean so much as to sap him of his will with her death?

He would forever confuse her over his love of those pathetic humans.


Well if he would not give her the fight she was wishing for, she would just finish up what she had planed for him any way.

The Rani called for some help to move him to her labs so she could begin the procedure.

Her eyes glittered with growing anticipation of finally wining. Little did she know that the girl she believed to be dead was on her way.


She was almost through with the procedure when A sharp, large and fierce explosion rocked the ship.

Rani cursed aloud and went to a video screen and looked to see what had happened, all she got was smoke and the smallest glimpse of blond hair, then other forms in the smoke running past.

She glanced at the doctor a moment then ran out. She would deal with these intruders first then finish. She left with a flurry forgetting to shut of the video feed.

"Ok Guys remember what I told you!" Shouted the voice of Nichelle over the video feed. The sound of it echoed in the room. The Doctor's now cybernized hand twitching.

Then the whole suit moved and left the table grabbing a cyber helmet and leaving The Rani's lab.

With the invaders…

Nichelle ran through smoke , finding she had gotten separated from all of those who came with her in the Doctor's Tardis. She shrugged and traveled on alone in search of the Doctor.

She traversed through tons of rooms finding nothing that would lead her to the doctor, but when she entered on area she had a dark feeling of being watched by something.

Nichelle took out the Sonic Screwdriver and uses it to give her light for the room was quite dark.

She'd gotten half way in when the door slammed shut. Nichelle whipped around and looked at the door wondering what was going on to see a very tall shadowed form.

"oh…bugger.." she murmured as the form walked towards her " Hold it right there, I have a Sonic Screwdriver and I know how to use it!"

The figure stopped a moment, as if to ponder her words then continued forward. In the light the Screwdriver provided Nichelle saw something she could not believe , a cylex with a Blue and silver chassis. Her throat became very Dry as she tried to find the words to speak as it walked towards her. "D-Doctor? is that you?" she asked her voice trembling with sadness, Fear and rage. Nichelle was not going to seal the Rani now. She was going to eradicate her.

She tried to keep calm, but the Rani had just gone to far, she could not keep a lid on her frustration, anger and heart break. She pulled out the book with her free hand to try and get it to short out the sudden rush of energy she felt, but it burst into flames from the impossible amount she was apparently releasing. Nichelle dropped the book and gave out a cry of pure rage, sadness and pain as the energy exploded from her and filled the room with light. as the light flodded the room, the cylek shell around the Doctor melted away and flung him back, Nichelle left the room, not seeing him.


The ship shook with the sound of her yell and those who where fighting, Ava looked at the Eighth Doctor and asked " Is that Nichelle?"

He nodded " Yes it is, but I do not know what is-" He was cut off by suddenly disappearing.

Ava gave a startled yell along with the others as the Doctors with them vanished as well.

Rim looked at everyone from his spot and said " We can't stop now we still got jobs to do!" he finished Hacking a Cylek and used it to broadcast his hack to every single one on the ship.

With Angel….

She was terrified when Nine simply vanished from the cell block where they where freeing humans with Jeremy, Dan and the rests help. Angel wondered if the Rani had something to do with it and ran out quite angry against Jeremy's protests to stay together.


After a mad run she found The Rani standing at a control panel trying to regain power over her ship and minions. "Where is he?!" She growled out gripping her Keyblade so tight her knuckles where turning white.

The Rani turned around and eyes the girl " so you are one of his I take it? Well, He is gone, The doctor was made into my cylex general, he will be operational soon enough and will take back the army you stole from me."

Angel now knew what the scream earlier was, Nichelle must have found him like that…"You will Burn!" Angel shouted dashing at the Rani with great speed.

The Rani was ready however and the two began to fight.


Meanwhile once again…

Jenny was busy helping Peggy, who had a fun new talent of becoming a Giant wolf, which gave them a very nice edge, when she had the weirdest feeling. For a split second the vaporal forms of the three doctors that had been with them but vanished appeared saying " You must find Nichelle! She's Gone past her Limit!"

Jenny looked to Peggy and said " Your Friends in trouble We got to get to her NOW!"

Peggy nodded and knelt down allowing Jenny to get on her lupine back and took off looking for her friend.


With Nichelle…

She felt numb, very numb, not the kind like when she fell into the crater, the kind when you've had your heart ripped out and crushed….that kind of numb. She knew the room had been blown out and had been destroying everything in her path that she saw.

She Didn't care now…He was gone…The Rani, she'd done it, she had taken her Doctor away from her.

She heard fighting not to far off in a room and entered it by simply melting the door. She saw angel fly past her and looked at the source to see the Rani holding a sonic canon. The Rain gazed at her like she saw a ghost.

"You.." Nichelle's voice was dripping with hate and the desire to destroy the woman in front of her. "You took him away…" She dove at the Rani with a fury and the two began to fight. Angel got up and gasped when she saw her friend covered from head to toe in a golden light, her hair wavering about like fire.

This was bad very bad. She had to get the doctor, right now he possibly was the only one that could stop Nichelle.


Angel ran out as fast as her legs would take her searching for the Timelord.


With Jenny and Peggy,

The pair had found the Room in which Nichelle had practically gone super nova in and saw a form laying on the ground out cold. Jenny leapt off of Peggy, who returned to normal and followed her over. The Form was the doctor laying on what looked like melted silver. He moaned and woke up saying " What…..happened…?" Peggy Knelt beside him saying " Nichelle happened…She must have saw the Rani doing something to you and…well she went super nova practically from the looks of the room.."

The Doctor's eyes grew wide " she went after…Because of…We need to go get her now!" He got up and swayed a bit. " Whoa…" Jenny was at his side with " Steady dad, Steady.."

He looked at Jenny and blinked "Jenny?"

Jenny smiled at his bewildered look " yup its me dad, and the other gal is Peggy." she nods toward Peggy with a wide smile. " Now lets go save your girlfriend!"

The Doctor blushed and sputtered " Nichelle is not my…we're not…I mean we…I"

"Jenny, we need your dad to be clear headed not jumbled by that question." Peggy said with a nod. "We can pick on him later."

The trio had exited the room the way Nichelle left , A giant melted hole in the wall, and met Angel half way there.

"Peggy, Jenny, Nichelle she's…fighting the Rani and….and The Doctor looks like he was shoved in a Cylek suit…" Angel said motioning for them to follow.

"I was" The Doctor said pulling out of Jenny and Peggy's supporting grips and following angel. " Jenny, you and Peggy get to who ever else is here helping and get off the ship."

Jenny made to protest but Peggy took her wolf form and picked the Doctor's daughter up by the back of the shirt carefully and bounded out as told.

"Wow…That's…Hmm, I'm going to have to talk to Nichelle about her friends…" The doctor said running off to stop Nichelle from wasting the entire ship.

The Doctor and angel arrived in time to see the Rani cornered like a animal. The Doctor held a hand out to keep Angel back and stepped toward Nichelle, he did not want to save the Rani, but he could not let her be totally eradicated. "Nichelle, I'm all right! Look!" He called once close enough to the raging being.

Nichelle turned around and looked at the doctor. He remembered a moment in his past when rose was like this in his ninth life, only this was totally different. " Doctor?"

"Yeah…when you…when you yelled out the force blasted the suit away…I'm 100% me.." He said walking closer. " I'm fine ."

Nichelle backed away a little, the glow fading away, but unlike before her hair remained long. "Doctor…I…" she began but was cut short by something getting her in the back, he body flashed green, showing her skeleton, sending her to the floor only to show the Rani standing up holding a Dalek death ray, glaring down at the girl in triumph.

The Doctor caught Nichelle as she fell down, oblivious to Angel sending a massive fireball at the Rani, thanks to her Keyblade, and roasting the woman alive.

"T-that…h-hurt…" Nichelle said trying to keep conscious. "B-but, y-your ok" The Doctor lifted her close. " You…you can't…"

"I'll…be…f-fine. Trust….me." Nichelle said as she started to fade away.

"No! No no no no no!" The Doctor shouted as everyone else ran in, They felt helping the Doctor was more a priority then escaping and saw Him cradling Nichelle limp form.

There was not a dry eye in the bunch, except for one person, an elderly fellow whom seemed to have slipped in unnoticed.

"Now stop that. She will be fine." The man said leaning on a cane slightly. " Didn't she tell you lot that she was Becoming something?"

Everyone looked and saw the first Doctor standing there. He walked toward the Doctor holding Nichelle and said " Come on girl. Don't leave my future to cry, its not dignified."

And as if by the power of his words, Nichelle's eyes snapped open and she breathed in sharply. " ok…I feel like I just grew another organ…"

The doctor checked carefully and said " you did, another heart."
"Oh…looks like they where right…" Nichelle said laughing. " oh…Hi one…Nice to meet you…"

One nodded to her and Ten with a smile and said " also , do be more careful when stopping a black hole generator…" He then vanished leaving everyone bewildered.

Then reality hit when a self destruct claxon sounded.

That's when everyone booked it back to the Tardis' escaping just as the ship, minus the humans they rescued, blew.

Chapter seven: a little holiday.

Wrong, even if the Rani had been stopped, thanks to angel baking her with a fireball (nice shot by the way) there is still evil lurking in the universe, So when the Doctor and Nichelle go for a little relaxation together in the United kingdom, they run afoul of all manor of things. Mostly Fan girls and Camera crews determined to prove he is David tennant.
