Well 2010 is proclaimed the year of the girl idols because so many are debuting this year. (probably because of AKB's popularity make female idols more popular)

So in the forums people have been parading around about all the idols, just like H!P's new group S/mileage, so what do you think so far of the 3 most talked about? (or at least S/mileage's competition~)

S/mileage, Tokyo Girls Style, Momoiro Clover

Tokyo Girl's Style - Most anticipated group because of it being AVEX's newest girl group since SweetS (which was 7 years ago?) They already released two singles in the same month.

Kirari, their first single, got like rank 30 on oricon with sales of 3k still being 3k lolol. They kept saying they got like 10k viewers after like a week on youtube. their second single, Onnaji Kimochi, ranked but didn't get on average, so i'm assuming they were that bad or no one wanted to pass on the news :9

I don't like this group to much. they're boring. and they aren't all that cute either :9

Momoiro Clover - aka the modernized yukata group. they previously had a SKE48 member. They had to switch members about 4 times, and has released two indies.

Their single, Ikuze! Kaitou Shoujo, actually did really well. Weekly rank 3 (DAMMIT THEY BEAT C-ute D smile and is pretty catchy. I like the girl girl who i believe to be is momoka :9

S/mileage is still my favorite, let's hope they score higher. There are a lot more groups, trust me, like that one fashion naka group or w/e and that one anime rock girl group razz
