Journal 1:
A few days ago I, explorer Summer Jones, moved away from the small town of Peska into the Northern Tisken (mostly wild lands or forest). I have set up my camp site, and I am taking it upon myself to start cataloging the area and all of its inhabitants. I have found nothing today, and I am beginning to believe that the animals/inhabitants of this area must be wary of my being here. I will continue my search for creatures none the less. I am sure they will start to show themselves eventually...
Journal 2:
Today I decided to hike up north a bit to see what I can find. Much to my surprise, I found a cave! I went a few yards into the cave, and I found some weird eggs. I saw no animals around, as usual, so I collected a few and headed back to my camp site to put them in a safe spot. The eggs look rather large, and they may hatch soon. I am going to work on building a very simple device to help me see through the eggs. Maybe this way I can have a clue as to what the babies might be.

Journal 3:Here's the results of the X-Rays...

They appear to be lizard-like.
I decided today that I was not going to go back into the caves. I do not have the proper equipment to venture deeper yet, and I have no Idea what is lurking in the dark around there.
So, I decided that I would search around the large creek that is running by my camp site. It is spring time, but has only just barely become that, so the water in the creek is still very murky from the winter storms. I did not look for fish because of this. Instead, I decided I would hunt around the river bank.
I was pushing through some tall trusk weeds when I found a small patch of eggs. They were oval and beautifully colored, and again I saw no animal around. I collected a few of them. I continued searching, and I almost stepped on the second specimen I found. It was small, oval, and a little beat up, but I knew it was an egg. I searched the creek long and hard and only found these two egg specimens. I have to say it was rather disappointing. A little while later, I decided to take some samples of a strange slimy moss that I found around some fallen trees. Just as I was about to scrape some away the moss moved away from me! After a confused moment I realized it had eyes! While I stared at it, it decided to attack me by hitting me in the face with some water that it spit... It's a funny creature with a lot of spunk. I managed to capture it and took it back to the camp site along with the eggs.
So I guess today was very successful.

On another note, I've been doing some studies and I believe that I have found a way to alter the way the creatures will look after hatching by placing specially made stickers on them.
Here's what the first sticker looks like. I believe it will alter their eye color to what the sticker's color is.
