As my favorite Final Fantasy, my favorite J-RPG, and my favorite way to kill time without gorging myself, Final Fantasy X-2 has definitely earned its place in my hall of fame. I have a big weakness for camp, which this game offers in spades, and the series's best battle system doesn't hurt either.
This is the thread, since no one else made one, to discuss Final Fantasy X-2. Dressphere combos, boss strategies, ranting about Reptile Run, and drooling at Paine's stomach are all welcome here. Hating is not. Just...nippin' that in the bud right now.
Currently I'm working on leveling the six dresspheres with an accessory tied to them(Black Mage, White Mage, Berserker, Samurai, Dark Knight, and Warrior) so that I can use a Final Fantasy XI-like subjob system for a unique team build. I can't see myself having much use for Instinct, but Bushido, Arcana, and Swordplay all have good things going for them, and although it's very situational, so does Black Magic. If I'm planning on facing an elementally inclined boss, then I can equip Black Lore and make my job that much easier.

Glad to see someone else liked FFX-2.
It is no where near my favorite FF but its still a pretty good game, with one of the best battle systems in the series.
My only problem is what they did to Yuna and Rikku's character designs in it =[.
I haven't played it in a long time so I can't talk strategy or anything for it. If this were FFX however that would be a different story.

I love FFX-2 but it did have it's problems. Good gameplay and multiple endings had me playing for awhile. I love replay value.
Some things I didn't like is how much Yuna's design and character changed. She went from quiet, shy mage to gunslinging popstar. The whole game was very Charlie's Angels styled. I guess they wanted to brighten such a dark story from FFX and make the next a little more fun and bright. Maybe it's just me I also thought the whole Shuyin and Lenne story was confusing as hell.
Gameplay wise OMG I loved it! Being able to change to so many different classes. That was bomb. Rikku beserker was cute X:

I liked it lots, the battle system being my favorite part. The story wasn't as amazing for me, but it was the first real sequel in the FF series.

I have yet to finish FF X-2, and I'm mad at my brother because he stole my FF10 and then he moved to Mexico, so I'm stuck knowing nothing more than how much I idolize Paine, xd

They tried to make a "Female Squall" and failed in my opinion.

Paine was cute. Yuna is my favorite character in the story, though.

Yuna gets on my nerves sometimes. Especially in X-2. I did like her change in X=2 though
