When two foxes decide to have a family they always come to Allta Saol for a blessing from Kesten and assistance. Birth is not always an easy thing for any of the wildlife here.
Once the little ones have been conceived the fathers will stay or go as the whim comes to them (though those who are lifemated tend to stay) but mothers ALWAYS stay until the kits are born.
Generally one mates within ones own element but occasionally they cross mate. Cross elemental matings are almost never lifematings but matings of the moment. This being said even mating within ones element does not guarantee that all the kits will inherit the elemental markings. This is another reason Allta Saol exists so that those children born outside their parents element will have a loving and safe environment to grow in....
This being said here are the RULES of breeding:~ The only pets that can breed are adults (permas are NOT able to breed)
~ Dice rolls will decide number of offspring and their genders
~ Only two offspring may be kept (one per parent) all others must be given away or back to the shop to be given in a raffle or some other event
~ Breeding cannot take place if either parent has offspring that are not yet adults.
Customer Limits: 2 Breedings per month (this is NOT per colorist)

Same sex breeding:
~ Somewhere in the mix the opposite gender has to show up, in other words: babies will carry most all traits from the mothers/fathers but there is a chance that the donor traits will show as well (it is not 100% that they will or won't show)
male + male + female = Breeding
Female + Female + Male = Breeding
Female + Female + Male = Breeding
~ The donor will not appear on your cert and they give up all rights to the babies (unless the mothers/fathers choose to give them one)

~ Currently these are only available as customs (just double the price of whatever you are ordering)
