If you're the sort, like me, to go trawling for good meditations on Youtube once in a while, post your favourites here. I know I for one am interested in reinvigorating my meditation practices, which have been piecemeal of late, and could do with some guidance. I found this one today, and think it's very good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8GrUeE0eHs&feature=related

I'm not very good at meditation. I've just never gotten the hang of it.

I have been trying out meditation lately to try and reduce my stress level. It is kind of hard to meditate at my house right now b/c my roof is getting fixed...it's hard to meditate when people are hammering on your roof! Hehehe!

I've been trying to set myself up guidelines about how long how often i should meditate. How much time a day do you guys spend meditating? Every day? I have a damn hard time sitting still and concentrating for very long, so I was thinking maybe if I broke it up into tiny breaks I take off from the rest of my day. What do you guys usually do when you meditate? sorry if I'm asking too many questions.

I meditate once in a while, but nowhere near as much as I should, or as much as I'd like.
Whenever I meditate, I have a difficult time bringing myself more under control to focus on the meditating. I'm very easily distracted sweatdrop
I know my main reason for meditating is to try and bring my inner self more under an organized, rhythmic, orderly control. My everything is constantly a tangled mess of anything and everything.
When I meditate, I try to reflect on the time between the last time I meditated and the current one, and I always try to work on bringing myself and my inner energies under better control.
I wouldn't say I'm out of control and can't do anything of my own free will. I live a pretty chaotic life, and I have mental problems, so it's very difficult for me.
