they just want to be able to say "oh yes, i'm a part of that guild, am i cool yet~?"
or maybe they just think that you're so nice so they click on ur guild link and want to join, but they think everyone else is a trollish brute in comparison to you
or idk sweatdrop maybe they're too high to think straight

Its easy to forget about guilds unless they are very active or youre one of like 7 active posters
