Suddenly in the dark i saw a pair of glowing red eyes. So i grabbed a dart out of my quill and tossed it onto my crossbow. Then I pulled the triter and just as it was jumping towards my head I shot it.
"Yes!" I shouted in my head. I started to ear sounds. faint growls. but I knew it had to be more than one, and to my surprise a pack of grunnies hopped out of the shadows. I thought to myself knowing this would be it for me. suddenly i heard a fuse go off behind me.
"Finlay someone to help."
