Fairy tales are real- any tale you can think of. Rapunzel, Jack the Giant Killer, even nursery rhymes. There is a Dark Forest, of course, with various towers, houses with bears and grandmothers, and enchanted castles in its midst. On one side of the forest is the Countryside, with farms and a small mill town leading down to the Enchanted Ocean and Port City. On the other side is the Capital City, where the Royal family, wealthy merchants, and nobility live. Your character can be from a set fairytale, an archetype (such as Handsome Prince or Wolf), or a fairytale-type character like a messenger, cook, or farmer. I'll also accept folklore or myth-based characters like Loki or Athena- but no character is perfect, and the RP isn't that serious.

Rules:
1) Keep it PG-13. If you've seen 'Into the Woods'- well, let's just not have any need for that sort of timeskip, 'kay? Just follow ToS and you'll be fine.
2) Be a nice roleplayer. Don't godmod and ask another character before killing them or hurting them. Please communicate among yourselves so the roleplay goes smoothly.
3) Please try to be active. I know that's a problem sometimes, but try to check back at least once every two weeks.
4) Put 'fluffy bunnies' as your PM title so I know you read the rules.
5) Be literate. Use sentences and don't use *stars* for actions or other chatspeak. That bugs me.

Personality: Mari is loyal, intelligent, and has a deep connection to animals. She prefers to avoid violence, always knows what's going on and can be impulsive and restless. She's open, honest, and forgiving, so she has few enemies.
Bio: Since she was raised as an orphan in the stables, Mari's love of horses naturally lead to her current position. She has no idea what her background is so she regards the royal family as her own. If Nerys, her mare, were ever injured, she would slip on her boots and run her route- she's swift and familiar with the kingdom. The royal servants got uniforms some years back but Mari won't wear hers unless her mission is really important. Appearance(pic or description): Not very tall, maybe 5 foot 3. Long, wavy black hair to halfway down her back, slightly tanned complexion. "Delicate" face and build, ginger-colored eyes and plump lips.
Personality: Snappy and a bit grouchy. Has a fear/hatred relationship towards wolves, and is a mostly cautious person. She sees woodsmen as dangerous, stupid men, though sometimes she admires their bravery. She hates how everyone knows her mostly from a certain incident that happened when she was 8 years old. She'd rather have them know her for her skills with the knife and a basket...or the fact that she's never lost a package. She never wears red.
Bio: She grew up near the woods, in the not-quite-so-fancy part of town. As a child, she was traumatized due to her experience of delivering a package to her grandmother, only to find her grandmother devoured by a wolf. She then watched in horror as a huge, burly woodsmen hacked the wolf into bloody pieces. Everyone knows this as the story of "Little Red Riding Hood", as she was wearing a red cloak at the time, and the woodsmen somehow misunderstood her telling him that she was "Riddle Woobs, in the red cloak" as "Little Red Riding Hood". Personality: Rebellious, she has no desire to rule the kingdom after her parents. She's a bit of a loner who would rather spend time with plants than people, and has a strong temper. You won't see it unless you really upset her though, because she is very soft spoken and rarely opens up to strangers. She keeps her hair short and hasn't been seen wearing a dress for a while now.
Bio: Although she is the oldest of the king's children, Lenora renounced her claim to the throne at eighteen and went to live in the woods. Money was no object so she built herself a nice house, just like her tower at the castle. She studied with a herbalist for a few years so she serves as the doctor for the section of the forest closest to the Capital. However she has been bothered by gold-digging suitors and so she's become a bit antisocial. She still visits Mom and Dad on a weekly basis.

Mari spurred Nerys to a canter. She knew that if she didn't reach the palace gates by nightfall, she'd have to wait until morning to inform the King of the dragon terrorizing the forest. When she heard Darcy's voice she jumped with surprise and reined Nerys to a halt.
"Oh! Hi Miss Darcy, it's just me. Do you need a lift?"

"Ma, I'm out to deliver!" shouted Riddle as she slammed the door behind her, before her mother could chastise her about calling her "mother" and not "ma". Basket on arm and faded, flowered dress floating around the middle of her thighs--scandalously short, according to that stupid, gossipy old woman across the road--she ran through an alley near her house, checking to see if anyone saw her. Satisfied that there was no one around, she climbed over a wall and hopped onto the other side, where the edge of the forest was.
She didn't feel like dealing with winding streets and idiots, which was why she was out near the woods. She ran towards the town gates so she could find a good place to wall-hop again and arrive at her destination, glancing off to the side. Turning a corner, she kept going and then promptly slammed into the flank of a horse, just as she turned to look forward again. "Ah! Sorry!" she said quickly, standing and dusting herself off. That was a good horse, and a good horse meant someone important.

As Maricopa was speaking a girl slammed into Nerys, startling all three of them. "Sorry!" she said as she was knocked to the ground. It looked like that girl who had been involved in the grisly 'gramdma' scandal a few years back- Mari didn't want to call her 'Red' but didn't know her real name.
"It's fine. Are you headed for the woods?" she asked instead. At least Miss Darcy hadn't been the one slammed into.

Riddle stopped her brushing off briefly to look at the woman. "Uhh...no. Just delivering a package." Speaking of which...She checked her basket to make sure the package was safe and sound. She breathed a sigh of relief that it was all in one piece. She needed her untarnished delivery reputation to stay that way. "Look, are you alright?" she asked somewhat impatiently, though she was careful to be polite.

"Yeah, we're fine," Mari said, relieved. "Just... don't go near the woods, okay? There's been some... odd sightings recently."
Experience warned her that if she went into too much detail about the dragon, it might provoke a mass panic- or, even worse, open revolt. And no one wanted a bunch of knight wannabes trooping around the woods, banging into trees and getting slaughtered. No, being too open never turned out well. "Hey, what is your name again?" she called after the girl.

"Odd sightings?" asked Riddle suspiciously. "You might as well tell me, I live right on the edges. It's not like I'm a gossipy person, so relax." To the question about her name, she replied, perhaps a little vindicatively. "It's Riddle. Riddle as in a tricky question, not Little. Riddle of Riddle's Delivery Service, packages delivered in a reasonable amount of time and never lost."
She figured she might as well promote her business if she was going to be held up like this. "And you are..?.."
