Hello and welcome to the section of Rawrtastic called the 'Roleplay Lounge!' In this topic, I will tell you the rules of this particular lounge. I know that rules aren't everyone's cup of tea, but they do have to be followed for the sake of others in the guild. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! R u l e s XXXo1: Gaia RulesOkay, so if you're a person who frequently roleplays, you should be familiar with the Gaia rules, the Gaia Terms of Service. If not, you can find them here! If you have not read the rules, then I suggest you go read them so you don't do something wrong. XXXXo2: Romance RulesAlthough most of the rules I'm going to go over are covered in the Gaia rules link, I figured I'd post some here anyway. Plus, all these rules are important when creating a thread as well. So, for romance, Gaia is a PG-13 website, meaning everything should be PG-13. No cybering whatsoever. Do NOT take it to pm's as that is also against Gaia rules. If necessary, time skip, and don't describe anything too vulgar. The ages of some people on Gaia may be younger than most, and it won't be appropriate for them to read something over PG-13.XXXXXo3: PostingSo, this section is about posting. In most rp's made, the creator specifies the "type" of roleplay it is, such as Advanced Literate or Semi-Literate. Normally, the creator will tell a certain amount of sentences or paragraphs that should be posted every time, and that needs to be followed. Another thing about posting is the profanity. Again, the creator will specify whether or not its okay to use it in their rp, but excessive cursing is not suggested and most would prefer if the curse words were starred out with asteriks(*). Then, there are colors. This is just one of my personal preferences, but try to refrain from using bright colors such as yellow or cyan. They are hard to read, and most people won't want to squint at the screen to read it. When speaking 'out of character' (OOC) the creator will normally specify what they want used for OOC. Normally it's either this->(( )) this->{{ }} or this->[[ ]].For other rules I may have missed or forgotten, check the Gaia rules!XXXXXXo4: Other RulesAlright, this section will just about cover everything else I didn't mention above. There is absolutely no god-modding or auto-hits. Auto-hits are when you automatically harm another person's character in a roleplay without giving them an opening to dodge the attack. It's just not fair and causes the rp to be less fun. Then there is god-modding. No one's character should be invincible. Everyone has to take a blow here and there, so make it fair. Another thing I should mention is to be nice to everyone. I know that sometimes rping can be fun and all, but there is no need to take what happens to your character personally. There should be no hate speech to other members in the rp. Again, I don't think I missed much, but just to be safe, read the Gaia rules.

C r e a t i n gXX AXX T h r e a d When creating a thread, there are a couple things you must know and do. The first thing would be to read and understand the Gaia rules of roleplaying. Next would be to create the actual thread. When creating a thread, it is suggested to have the following things included: a set of rules, plot, setting, profile skeleton and a space for accepted profiles. Other things that can be added but aren't required would be things like a Black and White List and an Anouncement Post. That's pretty much all there is to creating a thread. Make sure to read all the rules first! If there are any questions to creating a thread or questions about anything, feel free to ask me about it!
