Form I Shii-Sho:
Basic combat skills. Tought to younglings before they take on as a Padawan Learner. Roughly based on the fighting techniques of Earth's Kendo. Primariiy consists of horizontal attacks and parrys. Jedi Master Kit Fisto was a the expert on this style.

Form II Makashi:
Developed as a form of lightsaber-to-lightsaber combat. Roughly based on Earth's Fencing. Described as very elegent and powerful. Requires extreme precision, and allows the user to attack and defend with minimal effort. It is weak, however against blasters, and was abandoned for Form III when blasters became prevalant. Sith Lord, and former Jedi Count Dooku was the best-know practicioner of Form II

Form III Soresu:
Morst Defensive form. Developed after the popularity of blasters. Uses manuvers close to the body to acheive near-total protection. it is based off Kendo, Wushu, and Fencing. The drawback of this Form is that is can lead to dangerously prolonged fights. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi was the master of this form for his time.

Form IV Ataru:
Uses Force-assissted acrobatics. Based off Wushu. It emphasized Acrobatics and blade-strength.

Known Practicioners: Yoda, Qui-Gon Jinn, Darth Sideous

Form V Shien/ Djem So:
(both names acceptible.) Based off Form III, except offensive. Mix of Kendo and European Broadsword. Developed by Form III users by combining III with II. Where II only allowed for parrys, Form V allows for a full block and repel.
Known Users: Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Plo Koon

Form VI Niman:
Standard Jedi style at the time of the Clone Wars. It pretty much consists of a mixture of the afore-mentioned styles. Not very effective as a war-Form, as made apparant by the Jedi casualties at the Battle of Geonosis.

Form VII Juyo/Vaapad:
Requires intense focus, and intense concentration. Rarest form of combat. Only two Jedi have been known to master Form VII completely: Mace Windu and Depa Billaba (And, for intents and purposes of the Guild, Darth Oblivion.). It requires mastery in all other forms of Lightsaber combat. Its danger comes from the balanced flow of Light and Dark Side energies. If one can master this form, he is considered unstoppable with a saber (As made apparant by Windu's victory against Palpatine.).

Mace Windu developed an even stronger variant of Juyo called Vaapad where more Dark Side Energy was used to assist the force of the blade.

Form XI: A'Kona
Developed by Darth Viscious, this form is taught to all disciples of Mirai. Combining elements of Ataru, Sokan, and the principles of Form Zero, A'Kona is a martial art that has been augmented with the Force. Additionally, it draws from Dun Moch, in that it involves the use of moving objects through the Force for attack, defense, and also to distract one's target. A'Kona can be used with a lightsaber, another melee weapon, or even when unarmed.

The Armigers use this form.

Form XII: Sirka'Kona
Also developed by Darth Viscious, this is a much more advanced form that has only been mastered by Viscious himself. This is a two saber form that involves wielding both sabers as brilliant discs of energy, through the Force. The two sabers are used to block and attack one's target from alternate angles and can be supplemented by martial arts or other weapons. Utilizing primary "Shock and Awe" tactics, this form is effective both against ranged weapons and multiple attacks, when the user has enough mastery of both the form and the Force.

Viscious will also switch his lightsabers on and off or bounce disruptor bolts off of them. His twins disruptors as well as his method of using the lightsabers is a personal touch that Viscious has added after fully developing and recording this style that he developed to improve his mastery of and focus in the Force.

Naczhara: A form originating from the days of swords and maces, this form involves using a spiked lightsaber hilt and forearm guards as weapons. In this form, normal lightsaber combat is augmented by surprise blocks from cortosis forearm guards and/or slashes from the spiked lightsaber hilt at appropriate times. Backhanding an enemy with the reverse spikes on a gauntlet is also involved in this style.
