A pair of blue eyes stared deeply into a shallow river, eyelashes fluttering occasionally as the hind they belonged to examined herself. She wanted to look her best, but there was never a time when she didn't want to look her best, and with this thought she let a small giggle escape her lips. Her guardian had been cooing at her all day, telling her she looked fine... most of the time, other times she would say a hair was out of place or some such, but for now she was fine once again.
She turned away from the river, thankful that it was at the designated spot, that way she wouldn't have to come dashing back if a breeze blew. She shifted slightly, trying not to fidget as she waited, looking off into the bushes, waiting for the slightest rustle that would signal that someone was coming.

Kiraki was happier than she could ever say she's been before. Of course, she was a generally happy person, drawing her overemoted personality from gosh-knows-where. Perhaps as a foil to her mama, who rarely emoted. Her pale purple eyes were full of excitement as she danced through the forest, chattering pleasantly to her companion as she led her through to meet her mother, Narcissa. "Oh, Lapi, my mother is just gorgeous! I bet you two will love each other! Or at least I sure hope so." she said, giggling. "Well maybe she's not as gorgeous as you, though her fashion sense is impeccable." She stepped through the bushes that would lead to the river, holding them so that Lapiette could pass through without any trouble. "Come along, darling~"

Lapiette didn't exactly know why her new friend had wanted her to meet her mother already. They had only been friends for a week or two and it wasn't like they were mates or anything. At least in Lapi's mind they weren't though, she rather rather attracted to Kiraki it's wasn't like she was about to admit that.
"Ki, moi doz not be knowing why vous iz dragging moi along for zis. Zis will only give off ze wrong impression!" Though her protests were most likely falling on deaf ears, Lapiette continued them all the way to the river. It was only then that she shut up. Kiraki's mother was pretty, she'd give her that.

Narcissa swayed nervously as she waited, letting out a small breath as she saw the bushes ruffle and her daughter appear with the unfamiliar doe. Taking a delicate step forward, she moved towards them, stopping a few feet away to give her usual curtsey of greeting.
"Hello," she murmured, peeking up at them through lowered lashes as she held the position. "Ki, introduce me to this lovely lady," she said quietly, rising as she looked the doe over, appraising her looks. The girl was suitable, her coloration close to that of her own hair, but the doe couldn't compare to her own looks. But still, she was suitable enough for her family, with the beautiful butterfly wings and the lovely hair, Narcissa had few complaints.
That is, other than the lack of clothing, but her other daughter Pet had chosen someone that was rather... naked as well, so she decided to keep her comments on that to herself. Her lips tightly sealed as she waited for her daughter to do the introduction.

"Hello Mother!" Kiraki said as she arrived with her 'mate' in tow. She went up behind Lapi to push her forward, having her lag behind as if she were frightened wouldn't do at all! She smiled at her mother. "This lovely hind with the fabulous hair is Lapiette, of the Flutter clan. And Lapi, this is my mother Narcissa."
She stepped back slightly, waiting for Lapi's response.

Lapiette grumbled slightly at being pushed forward. She could handle herself just fine, though she wasn't about to protest and ruin her perfect image in front of another. After making a very polite little bow she spoke.
"Iz a pleazure to meet vous, mizz Narcissa!" she paused, taking in this new Herla's beauty. "So very pretty vous are, just lovely..."
Bowing her head again Lapiette turned to Kiraki looking for help. It was so much harder to talk to someone who had beauty greater than her own.

A small smile slowly spread across Narcissa's face as she gave a nod of acknowledgement to the doe. Well, this doe wasn't half bad, at least the girl knew she was the most beautiful of them all, it was clear on her face. A quiet chuckle escaped her lips as she began to circle, examining the girl for any dirt or the like.
"It's nice to meet you, Lapiette," she chortled, focusing on the girl's hooves to see if they were muddy. She hated being unclean and if this girl enjoyed being filthy, she must teach her the error of her ways. "Your quite pretty yourself," she murmured, now eyeing the doe's hair to see if it was unkept, something she also could not tolerate.
"She's quite nice Ki, suitable to say the least from what I've seen so far," she said softly, stepping closer to her daughter. "I'm surprised you managed to find someone like this, most of the others aren't nearly so... polite." She glanced toward the river, a soft breeze gently ruffling her hair. "And with your personality, I'm also a little shocked by the lack of clothing on this girl, though I will admit she is quite cute."
