In our tradition, those who aspire to join the ranks of the ShaDo must go through an initiation to become a member of the Guild. This is accomplished by having a senior officer of the Guild run him or her through a simple adventure. This is a test of sorts, that shows how the player's mind works and what their strengths and weaknesses are as a gamer. The player need not be successful in the game itself to pass the initiation, and, truth be told, many guild members have had characters die spectacularly and still have passed the initiation.
However, as hard as it is to fail the initiation, occasionally we do turn prospective members away. But this does not happen very often.
If you are a non-member in the sense that you are not a member of the ShaDo outside of Gaia, and you wish to be initiated into the guild, Send me a PM, and we will see about getting you initiated. Do not, I repeat DO NOT post your request here.
