I apologize but the poll only allows for 10 options. So only games 1-10 fit.
So I'm a long time fan of the series. Been playing since the days of the SNES game my first FF being FF Mystic Quest.
But we all have a favorite one that holds a special place in our hearts. For some its the first one we played, for others it isnt. But I'm curious to know what everyones favorite is and why.
My personal favorite Final Fantasy is Final Fantasy X. None of my friends really understand why, some of them liking FFX the least of any FF.
In my personal opinion, it has the best story with the best characters of any FF to date. The music still gets me every time I hear it. I've purchased the OST two times now (The case got ruined on the other I'm picky about that ha ha) and I've purchased the actual game 3 times now (Multiple reasons theft, etc) and the International version of the game. Everything about the game just screams perfect to me. Story, Gameplay, Graphics, Sound, Characters, Environments, and Music. It all just works so well in my opinion.
Final Fantasy VIII is my second favorite.

FFIX is my favorite out of the numbers. I love the characters, and how quirky and unique they look but how serious and real their personalities are. The story always keeps me entertained, and the villain is my favorite of all the games. I like how they learn their abilities from items and weapons. I love how Summoners are a huge part of the story too.
I know what you mean Alade D: I loved FFX a lot, but a lot of my friends thought it was just "okay". Sphere Grid was pretty cool.

Jaded_Illusionz FFIX is my favorite out of the numbers. I love the characters, and how quirky and unique they look but how serious and real their personalities are. The story always keeps me entertained, and the villain is my favorite of all the games. I like how they learn their abilities from items and weapons. I love how Summoners are a huge part of the story too.
I know what you mean Alade D: I loved FFX a lot, but a lot of my friends thought it was just "okay". Sphere Grid was pretty cool. Oh the Sphere Grid is my favorite leveling system of any FF. I really liked FFXIII's leveling system because its just a simplified sphere grid. FFIX is also amazing but I haven't played it since I was 10. I'm actually starting it again having just begun last night. It's already much better than I remember lol.

I enjoyed it but I had a problem with the way magic worked. I really liked it but it was damn near impossible to use single player, and sadly I didn't ever get to try it with multiplayer. Overall I really liked CC though.

I liked CC a lot when I lived in my home town and a friend and I used to play with each other. Multi-player is was so much fun, but single... it was like "meh" for me. I always played the short tanky dude and he played the mage bird dude lol.

Well what i always believe was that there isn't that many CC fans, cause when it first came out everybody was expecting it to be a carbon copy of the main FF series and you needing the gba link cables to play multiplayer. One of the reason why i love it is that you get to choose which race you want to be. And it seem like that, the story isn't just all about you, its about the world around you and the experiences that some of the NPC experience. though i never played the multiplayer, I found it kinda easy with just the single player. but i always felt that i missed out on some of the NPC interactions by only playing single player. @Jaded: the little tank dude, is a Lilty. Which i totally love to play as. and the bird mage dude, is a Yuke

Wow that threw me off... I figured FFVII would be in the lead...
Well it's my fav. The characters, plot, Sephiroth has to be one of my fav. villans and I just loved it all the way around. The summons and the whole system materia had during gameplay was pretty cool...
But I honestly love them all. Can't freakin wait till XIV comes out!...
Anyone know when that is btw?
