Short Summary
We find 11 1/2 year-old Douglas Yancey Funnie and his family (Phil, Theda and sister Judy), having just moved from their former residence in Bloatsburg, to the new town of Bluffington. There he meets Skeeter, Patti, Roger and Beebe, and his new life in a new town begins! Doug writes in his journal and sometimes even imagines himself as a superhero named Quailman to help him out with situations and decisions.

Doug is defineatly my favorite Golden Age Nick cartoon. I loved every episode. The Beets rule and to this day I sometimes get their songs in my head and start singing them right there. His next door neighbor was so funny with all he expensive stuff that would always malfunction, though I can't remember his name sweatdrop . I also went to see the movie when it was in the theater and to all who love Doug and haven't seen it, shame on you, go see it now. scream

I just to love Doug, it was one of my favorite shows to watch. It was just so different.

I LOVES DOUG!!!! The theme song was so catchy! Porkchops was fenominal! Doug was just plain adorable! The whole thing with beets? Classic...

Does anyone else find it sad
that the only episode Nick ever plays anymore
is the Christmas episode
where Beebe falls through the ice of a frozen lake
and Porkchop is put in a pound?
The only reason they play it is
because they don't have enough Christmas episodes of their other shows, and need to fill space...
