Jatai opened the door and entered his office. He looked around a little. In a drawer in attached to his desk, was a key. Jatai went into the desk and pulled out the key amidst several papers in the drawer, and rushed back out the door and down the corridor. At the very end of the corridor was a dark hall with a locked door at the end. Jatai stormed over to door, unlocked it, and opened it. It led to the Uzugakure Archives. Inside was a room with hundreds of scrolls: small and large. Jatai gave a sigh in displeasure.

"Well, I better get started."

Jatai began walking through the room checking the titles of the scrolls he passed by, looking for a scroll on the Isshido.

"Hmm..what's this?"

Jatai looked down, as he noticed his footing suddenly change. He had stepped on gravel. Jatai then felt pebbles hit his head. He looked up and saw that there was a hole in the room's ceiling. Then shifting his gaze to the right, he noticed that among the rows of organized scrolls there was a single gap between two scrolls.

"They were here, and they took the scroll from the archives."

Jatai began to clench his fists in anger, yet forced himself to calm down.

Jatai swiftly removed Kanazume from the belt that strapped it to his back, and held it up to halt the scythe's movement towards him. As Jatai did so, his eyes gazed up, trying to look towards the hole where the chain scythe came from. However, from his angle of perspective, he could not get a good view.

"Shoot! Link, I need you to see if anyone's up there. I need to protect the Uzugakure Archives."

Jatai said as he swung Kanazume above his head, pushing the chain scythe away from himself.

Link tryed to see who was up there through the hole and to his surprise, he saw Deidara and Sasori, but something was odd about this as they were both killed by Granny Chiyo and Sasuke, but not at the same time.

Link: "Jatai and Insane, you probably won't believe this but Deidara and Sasori are up there."

Deidara: "Hehehehe...back from the dead as well eh Sasori?"

Sasori: "Shut up Deidara, your work of art is still nothing in comparison to my collection of puppets!"

Sasori was operating a poisonous puppet that had chain scythes, as soon as Sasori's scythe swooped by Link it gave him a gash on his arm, which poisoned him but Link didn't know that Sasori fought with poison yet.

Link: "Urhhh...That stung!!"

As Link foolishly moved around, he found that his vision became blurry, he wasn't about to pass out but like most of Sasori's poison this would kill Link if it remained in is system for three days. Suddenly Deidara, with his arms back sent a clay bird into his hand, when it came out it flew in and blew up, just barely missing the scrolls.

Link: "Oh my head...what is going on!?"

Deidara and Sasori jumped down from the sealing and then they walked towards Jatai.

Deidara: "Well well, if it isn't the reject that quit The Akatsuki, well..."

Sasori: "Deidara shut up and let me talk...What we mean to say is we were looking for the archive data on the Isshido, they have been tormenting us and well if you want to know why were alive don't ask. We don't even know why, when we awoke from our graves we reformed with the Akatsuki...I'm guessing that they stole it..from you...yeah about attacking your friend over there...we were pretty sure that we would have to fight but I have a prop..."

Suddenly a rift in time opened up and then Madara Uchiha came out of it, he walked towards Jatai looking angrily at Deidara as he moved passed.

Madara Uchiha: "Deidara and Sasori I will handle this, listen I'm not here to fight with you despite the fact that we dispise eachother and I really hate you Jatai, but we don't have much time to argue. The Isshido have been a thorn in the side of The Akatsuki's operatins, they even snuck a member in to spy on us recently, I'm sure they have been harrassing Ariake as well...I propose we make a temperary peace treaty to deal with this insanity that has been going on. Well...what do you say Jatai?"

Link continued spinning dizzily around from the poison that was injected into his body by Sasori's puppet.

Link: "Sorry to interupt your conversation but I could use a bit of help over here!!"

Jatai stared towards Madara, then looked to his right for a moment, contemplating the idea of working with the Akatsuki to fight the Isshido, then gazing towards the left, in memory of his hatred towards Madara and the rest of the Akatsuki. Jatai's mind was at anything but ease. The mere idea of helping the Akatsuki again disgusted him, but knowing that if the Isshido could cause problems for both Ariake and the Akatsuki, then it must be a large problem that should be fixed as soon as possible. With Jatai's mind edging towards helping the Akatsuki, Jatai looked back towards Madara, only to look away in a moment as he noticed Link had been poisoned. Jatai then gave a disdainful look towards Sasori, knowing it was him who had caused it.

"The idea of helping you guys again, I hate it so much that it hurts. However, the Isshido is obviously too much for either of us to handle alone, so I guess I don't have much of a choice then. So I will help you, on one condition. As you can see, my friend, Link, has been poisoned by Sasori. Considering how its his poison, I want an antidote for Link, courtesy of Sasori. Then, we can get rid of this Isshido problem."

Jatai looked towards the three of them, a truly serious expression on his face. Even though he asked for something in return for the help of Ariake, he was still not at ease with having to help the Akatsuki, but it was a desperate measure they had to take, and deep down, Jatai knew it was inevitable that they'd work together.
