The topic came up earlier in an unrelated OOC conversation, and so here it is again: We need some sort of organization with weapons, so one dude can't just be like, "Oh, I have this super-duper sword, it kills everything just by a single touch. And it steals souls, and it heals my wounds."
Nuh uh. So, I guess we start by just brainstorming what we need, like...
A list of metals available
Weapon match-ups (Which weapons have advantages over which)
Possible enchantments?
Armor types
And, whatever else you geniuses come up with. So, GET CREATIVE!

We already did the materials.
Mithril Steel Iron Bronze Copper Studded Leather Cured Leather
I also pointed out, (to the dismay of Azure Elessar) that only the Dwarves would have Mithril, and they'd be stingy with it, as it's kind of rare. The reason we'd follow the original idea of Mithri: Believe it or not, the copyright of Mithril STILL belongs to J.R.R. Tolkien, though now his family. Tolkien created Mithril, he holds the copyright. So we follow what he set down.
There is no such thing as one weapon having the advantage over another. THAT comes down to the skill of the wielder. A quarterstaff can beat a Mithril Battleaxe, as long as the wielder of said staff knows exactly how to use that weapon.

You know, I'm actually re-reading "the Fellowship if the Ring" this summer. It's been since I was about 12 since I last read it. I feel like a bad fan now... *pout*

I haven't even read any of them. Only watched the films... :fail:
Well, there's got to be certain enchantments you can get...
Like; Fire, Water, Lightning, Air, Speed, Strength, Earth, Ect.

how about people can just make their own enchantments, that's alot more creative. Just as long as the enchantments aren't like ridiculously unbeatable. Like take mine, they are good, but they are limited. Like my dagger has to have a fuel of sorts (blood) to perform its enchantment, and it can't be the blood of the wielder. And my sword feeds of the wielder, when it uses its enchantments, and has a mind of it's own and will decide not to work at times.

Yeah, people can make their own if they want, I was just suggesting some basic ones.
