I know I've been fairly silent in this guild, but it's only because I have been contemplating God's purpose for me here. There isn't much to write or say for me other than what our Father means, and I feel what I have to write at this moment is very important; not just for me, but for everyone at this specific time in this guild.

I really want people to look at this picture here. It represents time, and most of all, pain and aged suffering. I guarantee that many of you, brothers and sisters, will be like this in your salvation. All rusted over with tears and broken somehow. That's the reality of being a child of God. But there's one thing about the picture that should be example for us: endurance, always praying and relying on our Father.
Enduring is the one thing that will help us through our sufferings. Our flesh and heart want so much to give up, but our Father wants us to endure. He knows what's good for us, and yes... it takes pain. Our Messiah endured pain with great spiritual strength and meekness, and that's what we should always remember. We are to be the likeness of Jesus, brothers and sisters; let us not forget what our salvation stands for. Let's defend that, for it's such a precious gift...
There will be much pain in this age; Jesus didn't promise luxury. He told us to pick up the cross, and as we become more like Him, we'll suffer like He did. It's a sobering thing to realize, and it can be scary. The world will be cheering on the death of our faith and our words, and at times, even us.
Endure. Pray. Always have hope. God wants us all to repent and live, brothers and sisters, not give up. And when you feel like perhaps you can't handle it, reach out in your brokenness and our Father will deliver you. He takes away our afflictions, He makes us blessed and delightful. Just trust Him, have faith, and you will become stronger.
17 You will be hated by all for my name’s sake. 18But not a hair of your head will perish. 19By your εndurαncε you will gain your lives.
