My family and friends always say im pretty. Ive started to wonder if they are just saying that because they are family and friends. I honestly dont think im pretty though. Its not because i dont like what i see in the mirror, its what people say. Every day at school i get called ugly at least once buy some kid i dont even know! How do i stop this or find out if my family and friends are lying to me.

Well I'm not going to look at the picture. This is because it doesn't matter about looks necessarily, but its what the inside that counts. Anyways, those kids who call you ugly are probably jealous of your beauty. Usually what people say to you is what they think of themselves.

well, there is this one phrase:

beauty is in the eye of the beholder

basically there is no way to measure one's own beauty except to rely on what other say.

however the best way to get over it is to simply not think about it

those who call you ugly either have no taste, are jealous or are just acting out from the crowd

If you think you are, you will be. Just remember that beauty isn't measure with your looks, it's your attitude. Don't ever think your ugly. If you have confidence in yourself, eventually, everyone will think so too.

Oh darlin' you are adorable!

I know it's hard when you hear people call you ugly. It's not easy to stop and think "Oh, they are just jealous." Words can hurt. People are jerks and that's not going to change... You just gotta learn to ignore/deal with those rude people. Surround yourself with positive people. Your friends and family aren't lying to you when they say you are pretty. Girl, you are gorgeous!
