Wujigan - "The eyes without ridgepole." They increase one's bio-kinetic-life force by granting the eyes' wielder yin-yang chakra, or meiton and hikatan, allowing them to wield certain jutsu that others cannot. The increase bio-elecrokinetic-life force also allows the wielder to hold an effect on their body called electrokinesis. This allows for a faster reaction time and stimulated cells. As well, they can read and examine another life force, and directly assault it. This is known as "hiraken" or the Flash Fist. It involves lightning-fast attacks that only need to make contacted with a biological life-force that doesn't belong to the user. As well, the Wujigan can directly sap the life-force of a biological life form if that life form were to look into the eyes of the Wujigan, a technique known as Hiru Kata. Mainly the ability to see the life-force and increase the life-force of the user derives from the wujigan's hikatan properties, while the ability to sap and destroy the life force of another stems from the wujigan's meiton properties.
Background
The Omikami originated merely a few years after the death of the Rikudo Sennin. At first they were just monks who denied that the Rikudo Sennin was a god, being as how his life ended with death. They believed in one being that wielded chakra and was made of that essence, who existed before the Rikudo Sennin. This beast, they called Taijinyaru. They believed that this beast was the very source of their Wujigan. Eventually, they went from monks to shinobi. This came with risks, however. They made their first enemies, the Toyouke clan. They wielded the Wujigan's opposite, the Taijigan. Often, their conflicts escalated into war. Several lands became scarred by the great battles they held. The first two wars ended with no winner, and an unstable treaty that ended conflicts for a short time. The tension always existed and a third war escalated, once again pitting the Wujigan against the Taijigan. It appeared as if it would end in another stalemate. This was until the Third Uzukage was elected. He went into battle. The war lasted for another 15 years, ending with the death of the Uzukage, and Jatai being elected as the Fourth. Since then the Omikami has been the main clan of Kanzen Sekai, organizing villages in a similar way to Konohagakure and attempting to establish the peace that existed before the appearance of chakra once more.
