☆═━┈ Show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile┈━═☆ Suzanne Collins It is based ina futuristic North America, one that has been ruined by war. The goverment has complete control over what used to be 13 districts. District 13 rebelled and waged war with the goverment. Since then, the Hunger Games are used to remind and punish the districts and show them how easily they can be crushed too. The Hunger Games take one boy and one girl from each district, and put them in an area where the only rule is to survive. The tributes have to kill each other off to become the winner.

I've never heard of any of this. But I did notice "District 13" in this previous post. Is it anything at all like the District 13 in the movie District 13? xD
(Original title: Banlieue 13, and also known as District B13)

The movie came out in 2004 in France, and then 2006 in the UK and Canada. I'm guessing the same time in the US as well.
I don't read books, at all. I've ready maybe 2 books in my entire life. No joke.

It's not that there aren't books that interest me, it's just that I absolutely hate reading, in general.
I've only ever read Dean Koontz' "Velocity", which isn't a large novel but took me 4 months to read, and Stephen King's "Nightmares and Dreamscapes" - a collection of short stories - and that still took me 6 months to read.
I have 4 comic book trades (a collection of 5-7 issues). Most people can read these in 20 minutes a piece. It took me 2 weeks each. Not sure how long the Zombie Survival Guide took.
I've had Stephen Colbert's "I Am America (And So Can You!)" as well as Bruce Campbell's "If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B-Movie Actor", both of which I absolutely love, but am not more than 1/4th through each, despite having them for a couple of years now.
I'm just not a reader.

Just to clarify, in case you thought otherwise, I don't have a physical problem with reading or anything. I'm not dyslexic or have any other reading disorder. I can read just as fast as anyone else, and have been reading from a young age. I just don't enjoy sitting down to read, which is why it takes me so long to finish a book. It's not because I'm actually slow reading the words, it's that I can't sit down and read it for too long without giving up and doing something else. xD
Actually, maybe I have ADHD or something? xP
