Hey, sorry I'm late. My week's had a few bumps, but mostly I'm just glad that school is done for another semester.

That's cool. I have 2 more weeks of school left.
So do you have anything that you would like to discus this week?

How about enduring to the end?

Sounds good. I think I need a little refresher course on patience.

all righty then.
In all the scriptures it stresses the importance of enduring to the end. So for you what does enduring to the end mean, and how are you working on doing that?

For me, it means being patient and remembering that our time in mortality is short and our suffering temporary.
And I'm working on it by just trying to hang in there day by day.

that's what I think of as well, and for me I try to find the simple joys in life.
so how has enduring to the end and patience helped you in your life?

Well, if I hadn't been patient and longsuffering, I'd probably be in prison several times over by now. I've just had the good sense not to snap and do anything that I know will harm others, for the most part.

well, that's good and I'm glad that you were able to use your good sense.
So how are some ways that have helped you improve/ or can help you improve your patience?

Well, one thing that's helped me a lot is just reminding myself that it'll all go away eventually. Also, removing yourself emotionally from the situation helps a lot; I need to do that more often.

That's good. I try to take my mind somewhere else for a moment and relax and then I try to work on what needs to be corrected.
In the May 2009 Ensign, President Uchtdorf says "Discipleship is a journey. We need the refining lessons of the journey to craft our character and purify our hearts. By patiently walking in the path of discipleship, we demonstrate to ourselves the measure of our faith and our willingness to accept God’s will rather than ours."
So, do you have any more comments, or questions?

Not really. Maybe someday I'll learn to be less of an idiot.
See you next week.

all right. Good luck with that.
Have a good week. Next week is my stakes seminary graduation, and I have to be there to give a talk. So I might be late, or might not make it. But I will try to make it. So I hope to see you next week.
