Background: As a young lad Sin was always picked on for being different and weak in the South sea, to the point where his family didn't even want him... but he did not allow that to hold him back. Instead he stood in the dark as he watches his father hand craft weapons for all sorts of people from marines to pirates. Learning from his father's craft he began to make his own weapons soon and from that make his own Scythe before learning to fight with it. Still to other that wasn't enough. People still did not accept him only the sea called out to him to the grand treasure... to the grand line where rumors spread that monsters like himself live and where his greatest dream could come true.

Background: At a very early age Yuna had always had a thrust for the sea and the freelife. Born in the west sea to a pair of doctors, yuna had instilled in her the medical knowledge and the wanting to help the world. When she helped treat patients they would talk of mysterious things happening on the grand line and spark her natural curiosity. Always trying to make and find cures, Yuna often poisoned herself with new plants and concoctions of her own, her body turning immune to the effects. Soon after she ate the moto moto fruit from her latest experiment in finding a cure for the curse, she was outcasted from her village as a evil sprit. With no place to go and the sea calling out to her, Yuna set sail to the grandline hoping to find the answers and a place where her dream could come true.
