A doctor who one shot

Nichelle the Time traveler: Me.
Doctor ‘Davy’ David: Is a perfect clone of the tenth doctor, except for the fact he is eight.(for now)

Based in The Doctor who-verse.

Nichelle M was tired, All this looking for the Doctor was taking its toll on her, but it was worth it if she ever found that brilliant idiot.

Right now she was investigating a lab hidden in an abandoned mine shaft just outside a rock quarry. Thanks to some of the stuff the doctor had given her when she traveled with him made her relatively unknown in the entire place.

“so many tubes covered in red tape…what is up with all this?” she muttered entering a room with red tape really over everything. She let her curiosity get the better of her and pulled down some tape on one tube and gasped. Inside was the face of the tenth Doctor, only like a teenager. But there was something wrong, he was dead. She replaced the tape and cover her mouth her eyes filled with tears. How had these people done this? Why did they do this? How could they have done this? She backed away and ran to another door, son iced it open with a Sonic Screwdriver and walked into it. A bed room fashioned like a containment cell for something. She heard a sniffle and spun around to see a little boy with messy brown hair, large brown eyes dressed in white child scrubs, hiding in a corner.

Nichelle melted at the sight of him. She walked over carefully and knelt down to be eye level to the child. “hi there, I’m Nichelle M, who are you little guy?”

He looked at her a moment and suddenly clung to her “ I-I Don’t have a name, but the men in white call me Project X.” he sounded so scared as he spoke Nichelle’s maternal part kicked in and she held him gently. “shhh, its all right.” Nichelle looked down at him. “can you tell me what’s going on in this place and why you are in here?”

The little boy looked up at me , still a bit teary eyed and said “ They want me to take over the planet….they said I’m the replacement for someone Called The Doctor. And since they can’t have him they took a bit of him and made me….there is a computer that can tell you more…”

Nichelle’s heart stopped for a second, this child was a clone of the Doctor?! Like the one she saw in the tube? “I’m Taking you out of here…” she said standing up and holding the child. He seemed to have no objections to her taking him and held onto her as she carried him out.

After much sneaking about and avoiding the lab techs, Nichelle and her little charge made it to the labs main computers. She set the boy down and hacked into the files concerning him and nearly cursed at what she saw. They had bought his DNA from the People in Area 51 .

Further more there had been thirty failed attempts until the little boy behind her. They planed to make more…she could not let them do this, her fingers began to move quickly across the keys typing out a kill code for everything, even authorizing the containment field the DNA was kept in, to Vaporize it.

Alerts went up and Nichelle Scooped the little boy back up and fled the facilities as things began exploding and crashing.

They escaped into the wilderness.

“Hey, mind if I call you Doctor David?” Nichelle asked looking at the child. He smiled wide “ ok!” Nichelle gave a wide grin “ and we could call you Davy for short…”

He gave a happy laugh and snuggled into her arms falling asleep. Nichelle felt her heart begin to melt again as she watched him sleep. “well….The Doctor is a Dad….again…”

A few hours later Nichelle reached a road and managed to get a ride for her and Davy.

The truck driver didn’t ask many questions which made things easier for Nichelle. When they reached a motel the driver let them off and gave them a kind word and drove off.

She layer Davy down on one of the beds and pulled something out of her pocket. A time hopper she had aquired from a previous adventure, and began pressing a few buttons, she was sending a distress call out to the Doctor. Hopefully he would get it and come get her and Davy. She had a lot to tell the Doctor about the boy.

She set the Hopper back in her pocket and looked over at Davy. From what the files said this boy had the mind, the physical make up and possibly the personality of the Doctor’s tenth life. But the personality and mind would only begin to show when he grew older, thus the created an accelerant and injected it into the boy. He would only be 8 years old for a month tops then the accelerant would kick in and cause him a good deal of pain as he changed.

she was hoping the Doctor would appeared before that happened so they could work on stopping the accelerant.

The next few days passed and things where a bit tame till Nichelle's call was answered. Davy was busy getting dressed in a blue pinstipe suit with Red converse trainers.


he had finished up when Nichelle walked in brushing her hair now wearing a simple blue dress. “you look adorable Davy. It fits you to a T.”

He beamed and said “ you look nice! Why are we dressed so nice?”

Nichelle gave a soft smile “ I called a friend of mine and usually people traveling with him dress different ways, I just happen to enjoy dresses.”

“ oh…” He said thinking about it. “when we meet your friend, do you think he will have bananas?”

Nichelle had to bite her lip to keep from laughing and crying at the same time. She knelt down to his eye level and said “ he loves bananas. I’m sure he has plenty.”

Davy’s eyes lit up like stars and hugged her shouting “ YAY! Bananas! I love bananas! They are really good!”

Nichelle hugged him back fighting the tears that threatened to fall. he really was her doctor…only mini.

“Yeah…Banana’s are good…” she whispered as the tell tale sounds of the Tardis came from outside. “ He’s here…Lets go Davy..” she stood up, took the boy by the hand and walked out with him to see a large blue police call box. Waiting outside its doors was a young man in a tweed jacket, light brown slacks and long brown hair that fell carelessly over a pair of light grey blue eyes. Beside him was a girl with fiery red hair and brown eyes.

“ Hey Doctor…hey Amy. You wont believe the past few days that i have had....This is Doctor David...or Davy for short"
