 Arthur trotted across the plains with no particular destination in mind. Not that he ever needed one. He'd eventually end up where ever it was that he was supposed to be. It always worked out that way.
The sky was clear and the sun was bright. Nothing could really put a damper on his spirits. Well almost nothing. He slowly turned and looked back at the spore walker floating just a short distance away from him. He didn't know why the thing followed him around, it just did, but he supposed as long as it didn't slow him down, it was fine, even if it was annoying.
He shook his head and then started off again, looking for the destination he knew was out there somewhere.

Taineela was also wandering about the plains this day, just ... seeing what there was to see around this area. The blue horned female was quite a bit larger than normal Soquili so she wasn't really worried about being attacked or anything.
Still, when she spotted another figure on the plains, she paused and tilted head - watching Arthur as he slowly came closer to her.

He hadn't really noticed the female just off in the distance, he'd been busy admiring the scenery and taking in the surrounding area. Never hurt to be familiar with everything around, especially if trouble cropped up.
When he finally did notice her, he was surprised and stopped for a moment studying her. She didn't appear to be hostile...but at this distance it was hard to judge. He took a few more steps toward her, before finally taking the risk of first contact.
"Hallo there!" he called out. "Lovely day isn't it?"

Heh ... he seemed a bit nervous! Taineela smiled at that, tossing her head a bit. She was almost never afraid of anything... and if something did scare her, the large female tended to stand her ground and stare things down rather than running away.
When the male finally moved toward her again and then greeted her, Tai bobbed her head at him. "Yes, it is! Hello, yourself~"

He smiled and trotted closer getting a better look at the mare. "Sorry for not hailing you sooner." he said. "Never can tell about folks out here. Gotta watch out for them Skinwalkers and Kalona. Nasty types." he said shaking his head.
He then smiled, "I'm Arthur Flew." there was then some insistent buzzing behind him as Boglash floated to just behind his rump. "And this is Boglash." he said with a sigh. "Obnoxious little twerp" he said looking back at the floating pest.

Taineela eyed the weird floating .... thing for a moment, but didn't shy away from it or anything. She shrugged at the mention of Kalonas and Skinwalkers. "If they're about, they should learn to stay away from decent folk," she murmured, still eyeing Boglash.
"If I may ask ... what is it?"

"You would think, but its not always the case." he said with a sigh. At her question he looked back at the sporewalker. "Its a Sporewalker...I don't think he has a purpose except to follow me around." he sighed.

"Hmph..." she snorted softly. "That's odd, but I suppose if it's not dangerous there's no need to chase it away." She was a bit blunt in her opinions, yes. After all, if she offended someone and they started a fight she would probably win, since she was larger and stronger than most other Soquili.
"Were you heading somewhere in particular, or just wandering?" she asked then, making a bit of small talk.

Arthur nodded. "He's yet to make a dangerous nuisance of himself so I suppose you're right, he's fine." he turned and looked her over.
"Just wandering, I find that that way I'll always be where I'm needed when I'm needed." he smiled a bit. "Destinations just get in the way."
