its mainly because the parents were raised into conformity and they want us to follow

really just look at it from their point of view, there are pleanty of things that i have done and maybe will do that i dont want my kids to do, and honestly, the only way to get to someone is to be tough on them about it, well thats from what i know, eveybody elses parents may be differant, but most of the time its that, like the whole sex thing, im fine with it, but if my daughter wanted to have it id be like " scream Hell no!!" but like i said, that me, if you think about it, they help sometimes, and when your older youll see, i just hate that i did at this early burning_eyes

Parents are evil, selfish people who want there kids to grow up exactly how they want them and if you dont then they hate you for ruining their dreams.

they think they can control who we are and what we will become, they want us to be like them, drab and boring, but when we try to be different parent think that we are rebelling and try harder to make us like them, they dont know what its like to be like us. they dont understand anything.

Sometimes, they just need to shut up and respect the fact that you are not their slave pet, and they can't control what you do, nor make you do anything. I hate to sound the way I do, but there's no way around it.

parnets dont want us to make the wrong choices in life but there not the ones living r lives they should let us do and be however we want

Parents, will always be hard on thier kids. They want you to have a better life then they had. No one wants thier kids to grow up poor.

i hate my mom she leaves me with all this s**t i basicly take care of my younger sister i cook and make sure she has clean cloths but she still treats me like im 10!!

parents always try to change you, like mine is doing now...but anyway parents are trying to change you because they want whats good for you.
But to me...in my world it seems like that parents are trying to make you into like a billionare, so you can pay whatever
And parents need to mind their own business and live their own life, they can stay in theres and we can stay in ours

I agree. I want my bangs in my eyes my mom doesn't and says that as long as I'm under her house and her rules I have to abide by what she says, She hates it when I wear my make-up dark and have clothes on that have slight wrinkles or rips, but um hello I'm the one wearing my hair, my make-up, my clothes, not her. I get so tired of it. Even when I say I'll just buy it with my own money she says the same damn thing.

They think these things are evil, and unless you have grown up with gothic parents, wich is very unlikely, by the way, they will think you are turning evil, and, well, whey dont want you to be evil, in their point of view. maybe not... evil... but, dark, i guess you could say. i myself am actually affraid to express it, cuz i absolutly hate getting an earful of 'mom' more than many other things. she got pissed when she figured out emilie autumn was a gothic singer who sometimes talked about death.... (Was the first time i ever expressed myself was when i listened to EA.) but, then again, she is probably not the kind of singer you guys like to listen to, i presume???
