It's that time of year again, where the seniors say their final good byes to the school and I would just like to say that I am one of them.
It's a weird feeling, standing in my position. I always knew that this day would come, but I didn't think it would come so fast and go by even faster.
But I must admit something. I don't feel anything.. I don't feel any overpowering emotions.. I did when I said good bye to my school choir and all my friends. But I think it might be that fact that we've been working for this moment all our lives that it's more of a relief than a sadness.
What do you guys think? How were the last few weeks of your high school? If you aren't or haven't graduated [yet], What are you feelings about it?

Graduation for me was no big deal, at all. It was a good school, and I made lots of new friends and all that, but I was never emotionally committed to the place. Graduating, even with Honours, just didn't seem like much of an accomplishment. It's sort of hard to explain, really. :/
But definitely, congratulations on completing high school! What are your plans now? University? Trade school? Or just chillaxing for awhile? xD

Kyo the Emo Emu I miss high school. It was like I had a security blanket then it got lifted once I was out. Security Blankets are nice.. XD I am/have been going to a private catholic school for my entire school career. So, it should be interesting to actually experience college in 5 years.. that seems like a really long time..

~*~ | ...und weck mich nie wieder auf! | I know exactly how you feel, but still I feel as though I should feel something. It may be different for me because I haven't been with the same kids my entire school career. I moved here in 7th grade.
But now as the day gets closer I'm more nervous. I don't have a definite plan right now. All I've got is a chance that I'll be going to Americorp, which is like the Peacecorp, and if that doesn't work I'll be going to community college.. Then to a University. But this is all happening to fast.

I miss High school (in England anyway) . Now it's university and you have to do everything yourself, watch your money. It's really scary to be let out there on your own. I love it though biggrin all the freedom, going out at night, staying up as long as you want. Then the age kicks in (I swear you start to feel older at a younger age) and I just start falling asleep at 10pm instead of 4am, haha. A lot of people seemed to get really immature when they started to leave school, a lot of people really grew up then it came to the last day of name calling, photos, and all the girls dressing up in "school girl uniform" it was like they're ambition was to turn into well....I won't say, but it wasn't nice :/
