Floating around the net is a video of an 8 minute trailer for either a new Mortal Kombat movie or video game (it's unconfirmed as to what it is at this point). Here's a link to an article and video.

The project looks to be giving a new take on the old classic. While not much is known at this time as to what exactly this project is for (personally, I think it's a game...I mean, E3 is next week so to me, it makes sense), it does look very interesting. I'll try to update this as more news becomes available.

Attack of the Show confirmed that this is a pitch to Warner Bros for rebooting the movie franchise (me and my stupid speculations...).
