Game #2, my personal favorite, Imaginary Net People:
This game is both simple and quite common. It involves making up fictional people, perhaps all related somehow, and giving them backstories, and then playing them out together online. All I can say is that being real is overrated.
I generated the name "Lynda Fisher" at Seventh Sanctum. She sounds like she might be a real person. Middle aged or slightly older. Very liberal. Perhaps a bit dotty. Maybe she is flirting with becoming a Hare Krishna, or going to Africa when she retires in order to build wells for the less fortunate. She's just groovy like that.
