Mideel
Just a few short years ago Mideel was a secluded small town in the southern part of the world, located on a large island south of the eastern continent. Only two unique qualities set it apart from the rest of the world. Firstly, there were its hot springs, which were said to have incredible rejuvination and healing prowess. The benefits of these springs outdid any in the rest of the world. The second cause of Mideel's renown is far more tenuous, and as history now tells the tale with cautious acknowledgement, the town is known for being located on a part of the planet where the Lifestream runs--in some cases--dangerously close to the surface.
During that time period a few years ago, one such incident preluding Meteorfall occured, almost completely destroying the small town as the Lifestream burst from the earth leaving the town in ruins.

During the years since, the town has been slowly and steadily rebuilt to the point of outdoing its old wooden simplicity. The island still remains quiet and isolated, with very few visitors. It is home to the sparse townsfolk, and a couple of doctors who have continued to modernize Mideel's medical prowess. Besides stone walkways and refurnished wooden buildings, the town remains mostly the same, unchanged by the years.
