This is so simple and basic, I don't know how I never thought of it before. It's cheap, easy, and delicious and makes for a nice summer drink.
You will need: An empty gallon jug Iced Tea powdered mix Lemonade powdered mix 1 cup of your favorite kind of fruit, blended or crushed
Directions: Basically, you follow the instructions for powered iced tea mix and lemonade mix that comes on the can/packet. Because I made a gallon's worth, I added enough lemonade mix to make "two quarts" and did the same for the iced tea into the empty jug, creating the "half & half" part.
Upon filling the jug I used with water, I only filled until just above the handle. I capped and shook the mix together until I no longer saw mix on the bottom of the jug.
Next, I took about a cup's worth of strawberries and crushed them in a cup with a pastry fork (only because I don't have a blender or food processor), and then added the berries and their juice into the gallon. You can do this with just about any fruit you'd like, strawberries just happen to be what I had on hand.
Shake it all up once more, chill and serve. If you don't like a chunky consistency in your beverage, you could also just purchase fruit flavored extracts and experiment with how much you would prefer to use to flavor your drink.
Enjoy!
