Welcome to the Galactic Cartography and Navigation Office. Here you can view the registered star charts of our galaxy and access the new Galactic Coordinate System as issued by the IPU.

IPU-GCS
The new GCS is broken down in to 4 simple parts. First is the galactic quadrant. This is so your Nav Com can readily assess your location in relation to GCP (galactic central point) as it processes the rest of the coordinates. Second is the radial latitude which is related to the distance to GCP. Third is the radial longitude. This indicates the radial spoke with the 0 degree make passing though [the star that Panacea Nostrum orbits]. Fourth is the elevation latitude. This indicates distance from the galactic equator.
