I thought it rocked

Sick action without a lot of violent gore. Good story telling abilities. Its amazing how it was 2 1/2 hours long but I never once thought it was dragging on, while Iron Man 2 was only 2 hours and I could have sworn it was a hell of a lot longer and drawn out.

All in all check it out for a very solid movie.

I have to wait til this movie comes out on DVD. If I went to the theaters, I'd probably be asked to leave for distracting the other patrons cause I'll be laughing my a** off everytime Jackie Chan tells Will Smith's son to "jacket off"...

That is so perverted. Only you could take a movie about a old Chinese Man mentoring a 12 year old boy...alone...in his wet dark house....

Damn it Kevin! scream

Besides the fact that he doesn't learn karate, at least they captured the perverted nature of the first one...seriously...watch the original in the scene where Mr. Miyagi shows Daniel that he's been teaching him martial arts...

Miyagi: Now show me sand porch...

Daniel....(confused, goes to get on his knees out of the shot)...

In all seriousness though this was a fantastic movie. I never liked the original, but this one was great.

In all seriousness, I probably will watch this film. Since Chan's in it, I imagine the "martial arts" scenes are much better than the first one.

The fight scenes are amazing. You would never think that 12 year olds brawling would be any good, but the choreographing is fantastically done.

I don't think I'd be able to take the movie seriously.

1) I'd probably wait for Jackie Chan to balance on the edge of something (like he does in almost every movie he's in).
2) The kid looks like Riley from The Boondocks.
