Hey, guess what?! I have a part in California Musical Theatre's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat this July. I get to be part of the children's chorus. which is in 80% of the songs. This is going to be so much fun! Wish me luck! smile

It's basically the story of Joseph(the son of Jacob aka Israel), from him having the dreams about the sheaves of corn to when Jacob aka Israel moves everyone near Egypt, set to music. It's really cool, and the music is very diverse. When the brothers are telling Jacob aka Israel that Joseph was "attacked" by a vicious creature it's this hoedown song called "One More Angel In Heaven". Also the Pharaoh is basically an Elvis impersonator when he's telling Joseph the dreams about the seven stalks of wheat and the seven cows. There's also techno songs and slow emotional songs.
It's just VERY diverse. But it is a great musical.
