Well, my father just informed me earlier that he got four tickets to the MMA fights at the county fair next week. Three of the four tickets have been spoken for; myself, my father, and somebody else. My dad brought up that it’d be cool if I brought a girl, it’d be one hell of a way to impress her. I told him that it sounded good and I had one in mind.

At first I was “******** YEAR!”, now that I’ve realized how close it actually is I’ve found myself in quite the predicament. You see, I’ve been planning to ask this girl to hang out, and when we’re done I was going to ask her out. I’ve been trying to text her, but I’ve not been getting a reply. A mutual female friend said she does that a lot, so I know it’s not me (well, probably not). She got on facebook earlier and I Started up a quick convo. I did the general stuff like asked what’s up, and the like. I shifted to the weather; we were having a hellacious storm at the time. No reply. I waited for a few seconds, and then I had to go before long. I told her I had to leave in a few and asked her if she’s like to hang out sometime. No reply. I wait for a bit more and then she logs off. Now, this is not looking good at all; but I remain optimistic about it somehow.

My plan is to ask her to hang out, and then ask her out after we’re done. Hopefully she says yes. I then plan to go out with her sometime between then and the fights. After that I’ll ask her to go with me.

My dad spent quite a bit on these tickets, they’re front row. I don’t want to piss his money way just to impress a girl, who might take it as coming on too strongly and back away anyway. I want this fight to be our second (or third, depending on whom you ask) date. I just really don’t want to come on too strongly with this expensive occasion and scare her away.

I’m probably getting ahead of myself, but like I said, I don’t want to piss my dad’s money away. I like to have s**t planned out. I don’t need help on asking her out or anything, but I do need help on is how not to waste my fathers money and then it have the adverse effect. Or is that just part of this damned game? Also, if you have anything else that might help with anything, do tell.
