Such a hard question...
Favorite book will always be A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'engle.
I like.... Patricia Briggs, Rachel Vincent, JR Ward, Neil Gaiman, Aimee Bender, Gertrude Stein, ee cummings, Kelley Armstrong, Maggie Stiefvater, Melissa Marr, Holly Black, and many, many others.
I like stories that play with our legends, myths and folklore. Whether they're children stories, young adult of various topics, or shelved somewhere as adult fiction, I'll read it.

Favorite Book: It would be very hard to name an absolute favorite, but a front runner definitely has to be Have Space Suit - Will Travel by Robert A. Heinlein. I first read it when I was very young (maybe cool so it will always hold a special place in my mind.
Favorite series: That I'm even less sure of. Maybe the Lord of the Rings trilogy, because of it's timeless quality. If you can count Robert Heinlein's "Future History" books as a series, maybe that, but they don't all necessarily fit together like a true series.
Favorite author: Robert Heinlein, probably. Shakespeare if we go way back. Stephen King for living authors.

Book: The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. Right now, anyway. It changes constantly. Series: The Chronicles of Narnia. I hear so many people say they grew up and didn't like it any more because the Christianity stuff is so blatantly obvious and it's like hitting them over the head. But I'm 17 and still love it. biggrin Author: Neil Gaiman is tied with Roald Dahl for this. I'm a bit too old for Roald Dahl books, but I just have so many fond childhood memories associated with them...and, no matter how old you get, they're still awesome.
