Right now, I'm reading Stolen by Kelley Armstrong and Talon of the Silver Hawk by Raymond Feist. So I have some urban fantasy and high fantasy.

Ooh, enjoy the reread. I'm waiting to find a humanely priced copy of Silver Borne, too. But I think we've already discussed this. Or there are more Patricia Briggs fans than I can keep track of!

No, I don't think you discussed it with me, unless you're on Monkey's book club site thing.

I'm reading Horns by Joe Hill (Stephen King's son). It's pretty good. I'm also slowly working through a nonfiction book called The First War of Physics about early atomic bomb development.

sweatdrop I meant to pick up Moon Called today, but instead I was Called to Chill of Fear by Kay Hooper. Which is quite strange since usually I am not Called to a book more than once. I actually haven't really even looked at this book since middle school when I realized I forgot to return it to my english teacher. redface It's a rather slow-paced paranormal science book for about the first half, and I'm almost to the point where the action begins to pick up again. xd Actually, this book is where I got the idea of creating a character who was a medium/seer/telepath mix though none of the characters actually possess more than one extra sense I just thought it would be cool. blaugh 3nodding

I finished Horns last night. I thought it was very well written, with some interestig twists, and subtle literary references that I enjoyed (Like a daughter named Regan who says horrible things about her father).

Anyway, this morning I started an old science fiction novel from 1951, The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham. I looked it up because it was mentioned in the Stephen King novel, Hearts in Atlantis.

I finished Chill of Fear last night and started Moon Called on my way to the dentist this morning. gonk Chill of Fear wasn't quite as good as I'd remembered, I'd thought there was a confontation between the two main characters and the female main's father, but I guess that had just been my imagination. sweatdrop I'll have to remember to pick up the next book in that series sometime titled Sleeping With Fear because the little preview chapter was interesting. 3nodding

I'm reading Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris..

It was boring at first but now its getting somewhat interesting. I feel this series doesn't have the same spunk it had in the beginning.

I start to read so many books because another book mentions them. Its so weird that most of the best book suggestions i get are from other books.

Well I'm about to finish Wild Magic and I must say I still adore Tamora Pierce and all of her characters. I'm not sure I'm going to make it through White Cat its getting a little dark and I'm not sure I have the will of the internet access to finish it. When I say dark I don't mean scary but more like things that make me cringe because they are so awful, like this guys brothers have been messing with his memories so he thinks he killed his best friend and they just finished beating him up. I'm not sure I can survive anymore of this.
