Owww. Critics. There's some in every pack. OK, let's be honest: you guys want these draggies to have families, whether they like it or not, right? Dragging the parents along, whether lovey-dovey or kicking and screaming? You guys are sick, but you're the kind of sick I like: the kind who build whole lives and families with a great deal of love and care for these lineages, despite the opinions of these draggies, cuz it's character-building, fun, exciting, and results in you guys getting more pretties/plot tools/plot devices. twisted

Sooo...you picked me to help you bring the next generation into the world. I'm flattered, just read the below posts and whatnot. You guys know the drill. Three slots will be open per month, at my discretion (being an anthropology major at one of the University of California campuses, an owner of two B/C shops, a staffer at a third, a dancer, a fencer, and an online RPer), and they will be on new lineart as it comes in, since kit has one stage left (2 pieces) on the Mountain, and three stages left (5 pieces) on the Northern. wink

Rules
-You may only breed two of your dragons each month. You may either submit them together or in two separate breedings.
-Only dragons that have been adults for 2+ weeks and have no non-adult children may breed.
-All dragons may only breed four times.
-Gay couples can breed as long as they are bonded to each other. If accepted, they must complete 1 RP with a guardian before the eggs arrive.
-Bonded dragons may only mate with the dragon they bonded with. (Exception: if one dragon in a bonded pair dies, the other dragon is free to mate with whoever they want. Because nothing helps the grieving process like finding out you're pregnant!)
-Each clutch may contain a maximum of two reincarnated dragons.
-No matter how many eggs are laid, each owner may only keep one egg.

Price
All breedings cost a flat fee of 12k.

Clutch Size
-Unbonded pairs lay 2-3 eggs
-We will add one egg for every three RPs completed in the past four months. RPs that contain both parents count as two RPs instead of one.
-We will add one egg for every reincarnated dragon, but these dragons may only be claimed by the owner of the dragon that is being reborn.
-The maximum clutch size is 4 eggs
Bonded pairs lay 2-4 eggs
-We will add one egg for every three RPs completed in the past four months. RPs that contain both parents count as two RPs instead of one.
-We will add one egg for every reincarnated dragon, but these dragons may only be claimed by the owner of the dragon that is being reborn.
-The maximum clutch size is 6 eggs

Magic
If both parents have the same magical ability, these chances are doubled.

Common magic, 30%
Uncommon magic, 20%
Rare magic, 10%

Mutations
Every mutation is rolled for separately. If both parents have a mutation, all of their children will have it too. If only one parent has a mutation, however, the odds of it getting passed on are as follows:

Common mutations have a 25% chance of getting passed on.
+5% for every grandparent with the mutation
+2% for every great-grandparent with the mutation
+1% for every great-great-grandparent with the mutation

Uncommon mutations have a 10% chance of getting passed on.
+4% for every grandparent with the mutation
+2% for every great-grandparent with the mutation
+1% for every great-great-grandparent with the mutation

Rare mutations have a 5% chance of getting passed on
+2% for every grandparent with the mutation
+1% for every great-grandparent with the mutation
