This game was just announced and there were things that I've noticed...namely, Square Enix has left it's mark on Disney's gaming team. When the plot was explained, I immediately thought Kingdom Hearts...in fact, switch "Mickey" with "Sora" and it's the third game.

One thing I hope Square takes from this game is the idea of a non-area specific world...what I mean is, in Epic Mickey, there is no "okay, this place is Alice in Wonderland; this is Peter Pan"...there are bits and pieces of different worlds throughout this neutral world. So in terms of Kingdom Hearts, you could be talking to Beast while standing next to Hook's ship...without the theme being either "Peter Pan" or "Beauty and the Beast".
