Welcome to The Treehouse's ongoing contest, Name That Animal! It's pretty self explanatory, but here goes a quick explanation.
Every week (Probably on Friday evenings), I will post a picture of an animal. Any animal in the world, be it terrestrial, arboreal, or aquatic. Your job is to name the animal. With the FULL SPECIES NAME. Not just "panda" or "penguin" or "turtle".
Usually the prize for the correct response will be 1,000 gold. But, on days when I feel he urge to be evil, I will try and find a rare, barely heard of animal to post. People who correctly name those will get 2,000 gold!
Note:: Please try not to use any search engines to find these pictures!! Since pictures are posted on Fridays, the use of search engines will be allowed starting on Tuesdays. Give people a change to guess it before you start searching.
The picture will be posted for a full 7 days, at which time it will be replaced. Even if a winner is announced the first day, the picture will remain until the following Friday. If no one guesses the animal then I will put the animal back in my list to be used again later. 3nodding

NOTE::: I'm not looking for scientific names. That would involve me looking the animal up again. XP Just give me the FULL common name. (Example:: Plains Zebra)

Plains Zebra/Equus quagga/Equus burchelli/Common Zebra/Burchell's Zebra.
Their ears are not as round as the Grevy's Zebra, and the family is too large to be a Mountain Zebra family.
(At least I'm hoping that's right anyway) smile

Mad Hatters Revenge XD I joined yesterday, my informations in the introduction section, however I didn't give out my real name, so Hatters works just fine (since that's what everyone calls me anyway after they forget my name) Yeah, I read your intro earlier, but it just never clicked that I didn't know you.
