Help your awareness to installing programs & the
hidden evils inside them that you rarely would take time to notice.
Most of the time when installing programs you can
pretty much just hit the Enter key all the way through.
Always be careful to look for check mark box's
most of the time they can be turned off also.
It's usually extra junk that comes with the program.
Sorry Yahoo Lovers but Yahoo is the worst offender on
slowing your PC down with added garbage programs.
Check your add-remove programs list in control panel
once in awhile. uninstall programs you don't use any more.
never delete files straight out, use the uninstall feature.
Run a disk defragmenter depending on your use:
---Run defrag once, for every 50-60 hrs actual use, not just up time---
Clean out your Internet History, Temp files, & Cookies folder
*GOTO:* your 'internet options' menu under the 'tools' tab at the top
of your internet browser. on the 'general' menu.
Delete Cookies, Delete Files, & Clear History
then click ok to close or apply
Your internet surfing speed should be improved.
The best form of pop-up blocking I've seen is Am-Browser
with built in security for virus, spyware, pop-ups & Java Script.

Don't fall for the bogus virus warnings that pop-ups bring you.
They are fake & only trying to sell you there software product.

This will make a major difference in your performance
If your PC takes a long time to start up, you should run msconfig
Click start menu/Run/'type in msconfig hit Enter
GOTO the Startup tab
check off all the extra programs that you know you don't need
such as instant messengers, or mouse icons, task manager
search pages. etc.
Hit apply
Restart PC
At the first reboot you will see a pop-up telling you that
your configuration has changed, you will need to put a check
mark in the box & hit enter or click ok. to accept the change you made.
You should notice your PC starting up much sooner now.

You can use this form of copy & paste even on web pages
that will not let you right click on them.
CTRL+A = Select all text
CTRL+C = Copy highlighted selection into my clip-board
CTRL+V = Paste current clip-board image
