The tan male sighed as his paws carried him forward it has been months now since the unfortunate leaving of Myrle and his youngest daughter Jayel. He'd left the place he had called home for years unable to stay there any longer for the painful memories. He'd forgotten what it was like to travel at first and it had been extremely hard on him, no longer being exactly a young wolf. The spots on his rump shifting back and forth as he carried himself forward even though his paws were starting to rebel.

Gold eyes looked out ahead as his black nose twitched and scented the air. There was an odd scent about the air, a sweet...floral smell. It was a good distance away, but it was still very present. In the summer such scents weren't uncommon but by the strength of the scent it was likely from a very large grove of the particular bud, one he had never seen before for sure. He would have to rest soon and up ahead he could see large tree shedding a large amount of shade, and under the hot summer sun that was all too perfect for him to rest under and rest his weary paws. He sped up his pace a bit until he reached the shade only to nearly fall over onto his side panting, closing his eyes to rest a bit, enjoying to large difference in temperature.

He could lay there for a good while and with the heavy wing beats of dragonflies fluttering about, stopping and going over and over, the short bursts of birdsong above his head and the crickets and grasshoppers buzzing in the grass. It was almost like his old home, but it was also so far from it.

The grey female had had an unfortunate leaving of Draug, and it hadnt been a pleasant exit. Having once been a pack mother, and herb collecter she had once had a purpose. But now after her and Rocket had left to the lands of the ORder, they now had sanctuary. Of course, Reaction was no where as important as she had once been, and she almost preferred it that way. She could relax and enjoy her days instead of being pressured into enjoying pack life. Not that she didnt, but she refused to have that stress of life anymore.

Her sister Turbo was no where to be found, and raising her daughter had been a hard, and difficult task. She had loved her though, and considered her her own now. She was no longer Aunt Reaction, she was mom. But it was still hard on her. She had no mate, she had no companion, and she had been raising a pup all her own.

Finding the Order had been one of the best things ever. She was happy and healthy, and she had a packs protection. Not to mention the pack was completely accepting of them both. She liked it here.

She yawned, blue eyes glittering as she padded over to the river, lowering her muzzle to lap it down her throat. It was cool and refreshing and made her smile once more.

After having laid for a while, his paws no longer pounding and protesting with the long time that he had refused to let himself rest and allow his body time to recover from the heat and constant pushing forward. Lifting his head up and taking a proper listen over the sound of the soft breeze and the buzz of the insects he could hear the trickle of water...just that mere whisper of sounds and he was salivating. He'd gone without water for nearly 2 days and was parched beyond all reasoning, he had never in his life been so thirsty before. Struggling a little with himself he finally pushed to his feet which immediately gave a slight pound and dulled under his bodies sudden insatiable need for water.

He could hear the trickle grow loader and loader as he pushed on, his pale tongue lolling from his mouth and there up ahead he could see the sweet sight of the blue water of the swift river glittering under the sun and the sudden movements of the fish beneath its surface, for a smallest of second he was reminded of fishing, but quickly pushed the thought from his mind as he dove face first into the sweet liquids that immersed his entire body and he drank as though he had been deprived his entire life, feeling his dry throat soothed at last and his stomach ripple as it filled, bring a bit of life back to his old body, mind wrapping around a state of bliss he had long since forgotten. As he stood there chest deep in the water enjoying himself he was there, unaware of the other nearby.

She had been unaware of another presence, and when the large wolf came barreling into the water she went wideeyed. Pulling back she nearly wheeled completely backwards. Her blue eyes remained wide as she sniffed the air, wondering what it had been that had caused so much ruckus in the water, [and splashed her in the process.]
She shook the water off her body, not that she minded, it was a hot day and the water cooled her. But she cocked her head, sitting and c urling her tail around her body as she waited.

When the male stood up from the water, and stood dripping wet she chuckled. Oh what a sight. She wondered if he knew anyone was there to see him look like a drowned rat.

"Well that was definitely a ten in score." She mused.

Chagrin looked up, gold eyes wide as he heard the certainly female voice behind him. Looking over he spoted the dark females with spots....spots...similar to his own. But hers were larger, covering more of her and blue. He stood there as though he'd been struck by a bolt of lightning for a bit, his mouth hanign half open like a fool. Once realizing his stupidity he quickly shut his mouth and licked his nose with embarassment and docked his ears. He prayed he wasn't intruding, he'd never forgive himself if in his slight delirium he had wandering into a place he should not of have been.

"I'm not intruding am I?" he asked...he'd heard what she said, but it didn't make sense to him until after he has spoken. "Um...thank you..I've not seen water in a few days..I was a bit hasty in getting to it." he said averting his eyes. Why was it he always seemed to be running into females? And every single one of them was pretty, as least none of them were brown or orange to remind him of the past. He wanted to forget as much of that as he could.

She liked the fact that she was blue and grey, two colors she thought made her look amazing. Of course, her sister was bright reddish pink and black. They all looked different, but had obvious signs that the two were clearly sisters. Their spots were almost identical, and both had a branch like markings along their pelts.

She looked at the male with curious eyes. She noted the leopard print on the male, and it made her smile. Oh good. So he looked like her, it was definitely pleasant. She gave a wide toothy grin and shook her head. It would be hard to intrude on her.. She accepted most anyone so long as they didnt threaten anyone near her. She was a heroic type female, who didnt do well with bullies. But this one, didnt strike her as a bully.

"No you arent intruding, goof. Youre near the lands of Order of the Rose, but youre hardly an intruder."
She loved how accepting this pack was.. They turned no one away, unless they had truly good reason. Evil wolves, need not apply, as the two alphas were siblings and were quick to jump on anything that they deemed evil or too dark.
Hell, they didnt even allow flings. It was a beautiful idea, true love and roses. She had always wanted to do the rose growing, but she had had no reason. No male wanted to court her, and she had assumed they never would.

Standing on the shore of the river he shook himself out, care to stand far enough away as to not get the female wet, it was quite rude to just shakes oneself off near another and soak them, especially a stranger or a pretty female. Sitting himself down with her pelt fluffed out though still quite damn, but at least cooled off finally and no longer feeling as though he were one th brink of death itself he tilted his head a little. The Order of the Rose? He'd never heard of the pack, it had a very regal ring to it and with that thought oh how it made him think of his son Numair leaving at such a young age. A slight wonder crossed his mind, could this be the pack that he had gone in search of? And if so...what Numair here, could he be, if he was he was certainly grown by now. The wonder ate at him, but he refused to ask...to jump to such things wouldn't be right, especially when they weren't even introduced.

"I have never heard of this pack, though...I know the names of very few for I am a but a mere wanderer for the time being." he said bowing his head in respect of the female. "My name is Chagrin...I come from far away. I have travelled to escape the memories of my past." he said heavily, it had been a long time since had been so formal with anyone, but he felt the need to do so for whatever reason. Though he couldn't help but watch the female carefully, she was extremely beautiful, he'd seen wolves of numerous colors, but she truly stood out to him in a way he could not understand.

She cocked her head, listening to his story. She couldnt help but feel for him. He was a sweet guy from the sound of it, and how he had had a troubled past kinda had her confused. He didnt seem like he could have such a bad outlook with how kind nad formal he seemed.

"Im sorry to hear that. I found my way here by fighting my own demons." She nodded, and looked him over. His pelt was golden with a nice touch of brown spots along his back.
He was handsome indeed, she could admit that. She found herself staring a bit too long and then blushed turning away.

"Well you found a good place then. Welcomes all and doesnt judge you. Plus if youve had hardships, you'll find that the gentleness of the pack set you at ease."

Finally he had to look up, he was basically being invited into the pack, something he had never truly considered before was being a part of a pack. It was certainly an idea...he could be around others and the solitary life was somewhat trying and always had been for him. He didn't notice the female staring at him at all as he was lost within he own mind in thought. It was tempting, maybe he could try it; it was worth at least a chance to do something with himself rather than being a miserable loner wandering about with no real purpose to life any longer. This would give him something to work for and a reason to keep existing.

"That sounds wonderful...I'm sure I could help with hunting. Any assistance I could bring, these old bones could just a purpose in life." he smiled slightly in return of her wide grin, she had a very pretty smile, he had to admit.
