This pickled vegetable...It was really easy actually.
I bought a package of the powder while I was out today, I wasn't meaning to it just happened on a whim. Anyway, when I got home, I mixed it with tea and lemon juice and I now have a nice henna paste. ... could kick your a** !!

Nice! Henna tattoos are so pretty. I really like henna, since I love tattoo art, but would have trouble deciding on a permanent design I'd be happy with forever. What kind of designs do you plan to make? Was the powder expensive? I've never heard of mixing it with tea before, but then again I've never actually made it myself.
(Just fyi for anyone who doesn't know: although brown henna is safe, black henna can leave scarring if the person has an allergic reaction to it.)

This pickled vegetable...Henna's not permanent, so I don't have to commit to any one design forever.
As for mixing it with tea, it enhances the color and makes it bolder. The acid in the lemon juice makes it brighter. If you're ever gonna make your own henna I would recommend mixing it with tea instead of plain water.
And it wasn't that expensive at all. $2.50 a package. ... could kick your a** !!

I kind of... worded that badly before, haha. I've gotten a henna tattoo once before, but it was such a long time ago I can't even remember what the design was.
That's neat, if I ever buy some, I'll try using it with tea and lemon juice, too. That's such a good price, too. I've seen whole kits for about $30, so I'm glad it doesn't always have to cost so much.

I've been wanting to do that for some time now. I want to incorporate a spell into one and I'm thinking about doing it for my husband when he returns from Basic (he loves tattoos, but I don't want to get a permanent one. I pass out around needles, dunno why). I'm relieved it's not that expensive, I think I'll have fun with this

Azhren AW SNAP hennas snazzy as deh dickens! surprised ish thar a difference between henna and mendhi? ninja Um, I believe that mendhi is another word for it in India and Pakistan. Part of my family is from India and some say henna and some say mendhi. Its what I think...not know. My sister says its the same.

I got myself a large kit. I have no mixed it up because I do not want to waste it. It makes a lot of the paste. And I still need a few ingredients. I don't really know why else I haven't made it up yet. I guess just laziness and not wanting to waste it.
